Lovely villa in peaceful location. Easy access to La Manga's superb amenities

This pretty two bedroom semi detached villa enjoys one of the best views of La Manga Club and the Mar Menor. You enter the property into a light and airy lounge/dining area. The kitchen is well equipped and has recently benefitted from a new dishwasher and ceramic hob. The dining area & lounge seats 6 comfortably. There is an English channel TV with full Sky Sports, DVD player, music centre with a choice of CDs and an ipod docking station if you prefer your own music. There is unlimited free Wi-Fi and you will find a good choice of books if you just want to chill quietly.

Patio doors lead out to a furnished sun terrace with wonderful views over La Manga. For those wanting shade there is a sun canopy that can be wound out & there is a large brick built BBQ perfect for Al fresco dining.

Downstairs there are two bedrooms, the master bedroom having an ensuite with a shower over the bath and a bidet. The family bathroom has a walk in shower & houses the washing machine. Both bedrooms have plenty of cupboard space & the windows have mosquito screens so you can choose to enjoy fresh air during hot summer nights. The twin bedroom has 2 single beds that can be adapted to king size & both bedrooms have hot and cold air conditioning plus ceiling fan; as does the living area.

The owner's favourite 'room' is the spacious roof top solarium which is accessed by an internal winding staircase with handrail. This top terrace offers stunning views of La Manga, the mountains and the Mar Menor. There are folding sunbeds and a seating area for four so you can sit and watch the glorious sunset over a glass of wine! A third spacious patio at the front of the property ensures a serious sun worshipper can enjoy sunshine all day long.

Set in a quiet location the villa is a short walk from a large residents-only solar heated swimming pool with toddlers' pool, poolside bar and restaurant which is open for lunch between March and October. Pretty Bellaluz Square is within easy walking distance & here you will find bars, restaurants, a supermarket, boutiques and a chemist. A slightly longer walk takes you to the centre of La Manga Club where you will find the tennis courts and academy plus a huge outdoor pool which is open during the high season. In addition there is a petrol station, bank, doctor's surgery and a large well equipped supermarket plus a superb choice of restaurants, cafes and bars. Local taxis only charge 5 euros to take you anywhere on the club so you can also enjoy the restaurants and luxurious spa on the north side of the resort. Finally there are the world renowned golfing facilities and academy.

In addition there is a huge choice of restaurants and bars in Los Belones, a local Spanish working town about a 10 minute drive out of the Club.

Just slightly further takes you to Cabo de Palos, a delightful and traditional Spanish fishing village. Here you can sit at one of the many cafes on the harbour front watching the fishing and diving boats go out to sea. A huge market is held here on a Sunday and there is a delightful walk to the lighthouse which is located on the most southerly tip of the Mar Menor.

Superb location

This holiday home has every thing you would need for a great time in Spain.

The house is set on the los molinos area on the la manga club, just a short walk to the restaurants and bars plus all wonderful facilities the club has to offer.

Inside the house it is fully equipped with all you would need for a relaxing stay, and the views from the top sun terrace are supperd.

The owner can be proud of this house and we will be going back again

Beautiful sunny getaway

My husband and I spent a wonderful week in this beautiful villa. Fantastic location close to bars and restaurants. Spectacular views from the sunny roof terrace, perfect for sunbathing by day and an evening glass of bubbles. We plan to return this summer with our young baby.

Lovely stay on La Manga Club

I had a most enjoyable stay at La Manga Club. Well equipped, homely and lovely views across the Mar Menor.

I particularly appreciated the Sky Sports for Soccer Saturday whilst my partner enjoyed sunbathing on the roof terrace!

A gem of a property

Small but perfectly formed! This house is on the edge of the Los Molinos commune but close to all local amenities including shops, bars and swimming pool. The two bedrooms are very comfortable, one is en suite, the other is next to the family bathroom.

The property is comfortable with everything you could want to make a holiday comfortable. The kitchen has recently had a new hob and dishwasher. The living room has satellite television, a music system (and cd's) but for me the inclusive wifi was such a bonus.

Externally there is a patio and bbq area which gets the sun most of the day and a roof terrace that is a real sun trap.

This property is exceptionally well appointed - I will be going back!

If sport is your thing then La Manga Club is a perfect choice for you.

La Manga Club is home to one of the best tennis centres in Europe. It boasts 28 courts (most are floodlit), with a choice of surfaces. The excellent Tennis Academy has fully qualified coaches who teach courses or individual lessons for adults and children of all abilities. The tennis centre also hosts a squash court, gym and the facility to play bowls. Please note that the villa has Residents' Rates (up to a 50% discount) which apply for up to two people when using some of the sports facilities on La Manga Club. Other activities available on La Manga Club include a kids club (0-12 years), dancing, horse riding, cricket, rugby, football and mountain biking. Water sports are available nearby. There is also a luxurious spa at La Manga Club which boasts a 25 metre indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi along with a range of beauty treatments.

Coast/Beach:

The nearest beach (La Cala) is less than a mile away (the terrain is steep and therefore travel by car is recommended). There are lots of beaches in the local area including the beautiful, long, sandy beaches at Calblanque (10mins drive) and further beaches along La Manga Strip.

Travel:

La Manga Club is serviced by airlines that fly into both Murcia (San Javier) and Alicante airports. Murcia (San Javier) airport is a 30 minute drive away and Alicante airport is just over an hours drive away.

Further Details:

While a lot of visitors never feel the need to leave La Manga Club, there are lots of places to visit should you decide to have a change of scenery. In the villa you will find a book full of information about local places of interest. This includes the village of Los Belones which is approximately 5-10 minutes by car and has a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The town of Cartagena is a short drive away (less than 30 minutes by car) and has a variety of historical attractions to enjoy along with some fantastic shops. Cabo de Palos, a very charming fishing village, is approximately 15-minutes by car and boasts a harbour, excellent fish restaurants and a large Sunday morning market. It is truly Spanish & there is nothing nicer than to have a coffee on the harbour front & watch the fishermen mend their nets.
