About the Owner

I live nearby , am a mother of 3 grown up children , and am a tenant farmer running a specialty plum orchard on the Holkham estate. I was born in the farmhouse ! I love sailing and motorbiking and to that end you will see several large photos on the barn walls from my trips by motorbike all over the world.

Guestbook comments from the owner

I can't believe how well it suited all of us and everyone was able to do their own thing but at the same time didn't feel cut off from everyone else! The beds were all so comfortable-didn't hear any grumbles anyway and my Mum was happy at 87 not to go upstairs!

Monty, our 15 year old spaniel had a new lease of life and had 2 long walks every day! We were so lucky with the weather too and some of our morning walks were spectacular with the birdsong, kite and owls!

The kitchen was so well equipped and every evening we cooked and there was always the right dishes and pans - thank you! Also, the knives were all sharp which really helps when you are preparing lots of veg!

Booking Notes: It is ALWAYS best to contact/enquire with me first BEFORE paying any deposit. Often the price quoted seems to come up wrong and I am always happy to negotiate. Then you can pay the deposit through this website or pay via BACS to us...your choice.
The minimum rate for a weekend is generally £750 . Please do not take this website's minimum rate seriously. If I have to decline your request because the rate is wrong it all then seems to complicate matters!
