About Jan Yabsley

My husband and I live in Surrey, we have two children and one Grandson.

We have always enjoyed holidaying in West Sussex.

We love visiting the many historic towns and villages nearby and taking long walks in the rolling countryside.

Jan Yabsley purchased this bungalow in 1994

Why Jan Yabsley chose Bognor Regis

Felpham/Bognor Regis and its beautiful surrounding areas has always had a special place in my heart.

In 1946 my Grandparents owned caravans at Bognor Regis,my dad as a boy enjoyed wonderful holidays here.

My sister and I, as children also enjoyed wonderful holidays at my Grandparents caravan.

And as my husband and I became parents we took our children too.

In 1987 the running of the caravans became to much for my Grandparents.

In 1994 my husband and I decided that we wanted to continue our holidays at Felpham. We started looking for a holiday home which we and guests could enjoy. We found Felpham Bungalow, which was perfect for us! It was in a perfect location, near to the village and beach and close to all the nearby village's, countryside and towns which we always love to visit

A beautifully prepared bungalow, very neat and tidy. Thank you so much for the generous welcome pack

We were lucky to meet Jan and Steve as they were just leaving as we arrived. A lovely couple who were most welcoming and friendly and showed us everything we needed. They also gave us some good tips on where to visit locally and even got the sunloungers out the garage for us in case we should be able to use them.

Everything is very clean in the bungalow which is extremely well equipped. The meter system for gas and electricity very easy to to use and recharge.

We had a 3 night stay and managed a walk on the South Downs Way near the very interesting village of Amberly, a walk along the coast and visits to Arundel and Chichester. Lots to do in the area and would love to return as our long weekend was not nearly enough time.

Well equipped, very clean and great location

We found this a great location for our 3 night Easter stay, despite the weather we were still out and about. The house was spotless, the welcome pack was a lovely gesture and the kitchen had everything you could think of. Easy to book from start to finish with continuous communication from owner..... definitely worthy of 5 stars. Thanks for a great stay :)

Lovely property

The property was very clean and comfortable. With thoughtful added extras such as DVDs and some play items in the garden.

Felpham beach is walkable from the house, a wonderful stretch of coast line, no frills and unspoilt. The house is a great base to explore various places around and about.

Weekend stay for the Goodwood March Meeting

Myself, my friend Dave House and his son Matthew were all very impressed with the standard of the accommodation in all aspects, facilities, cleanliness and the little extras which you do really appreciate - milk, bread, biscuits tea and coffee etc.

The address was very convenient for local amenities and we walked out to the front and used the local eateries each night which we very good. The keysafe worked well and the location of the bungalow in a very respectable residential area was lovely, quiet and relaxed. The cost of the weekend was very competitive and we would not hesitate to stay there again,

Home from home

We really enjoyed our break in the Felpham cottage. It was clean, comfortable, well equipped and well maintained. Its position is good for exploring the local area and has a local shop and pub nearby. We had a lovely time and hope to return soon.
