A fantastic cottage

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic stay at Heathfield Cottages. The cottage had everything we neeeded and more especially for our toddler including stair gates, plastic bowls and plates and even toys. There was even a games shed with items which could be borrowed for the beach. The cottage was beautifully clean and so comfortable especially the huge bed. The cottage was in a picturesque location and was really peaceful. My husband loved the unexpected hot tub which had been purchased since we booked! The owners were on hand if you needed them but let you get on with your holiday uninterrupted. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic family friendly cottage!

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from a superb week staying in Ty Gwyn. The cottage is an absolutely brilliant find and provided us with the perfect base to explore the area. It has fabulous views over a large garden (complete with trampoline and climbing frame) and then fields. The cottage itself has been beautifully done out and provided a spotlessly clean, light, warm, comfortable and spacious living space for our holiday. The friendly owners, Helen and Michael, had thought of everything including all things child friendly (and I do mean ALL!) to make our stay a good one. We made trips across the whole area including visits to the beautiful Barafundle Bay, Tenby, St David's, Pembroke castle and Manorbier castle and beach. The highlight though was a boat trip to Skomer island to see the puffins.

Lovely comfortable cottage

  • 5 of 5

Perfect location for the main attractions and beach areas of Pembrokeshire. The cottage itself is well equipped and very confortable.

We we made to feel welcome immediately and the grounds had plenty of space for our young children to play.

The only downside was the internet speed, slow at best - although this is due to he location being rural and in fact was part of the charm of getting away for a weekend.

Thoroughly recommended.

Wonderful Cottage

  • 5 of 5

Great place to stay, very clean and comfortable with all the things you'll need during your stay. Fabulous view from the patio and even better from the bedroom. The children have got plenty of space to run round in the garden which includes a trampoline, swings, climbing frame and a football goal. The shed has a ping pong table as well as equipment you can borrow to take to the beach. If its chilly the heating comes on straight away, just turn the dial.

Its also very well placed to explore, just 3 minutes to Narberth by car for shopping, eating and petrol and only 10 minutes to the A40 if you want to do some mileage.

Sandersfoot beach is no more that 15-20 minutes away .Stackpole National trust estate is a must, beautiful walks and beaches. St David's is well worth a visit. Oakwood theme park is a great day out, not busy but get vouchers from the tourist board other wise its expensive.

Id definitely come again and would be happy to recommend Ty Gywn to anyone.
