We have really enjoyed our stay in Bellflower Mews. Everything we needed was here. Very comfortable and relaxing accommodation. Well equipped kitchen and lovely powerful shower. Great position for exploring this part of Kent. We recommend walking along Tankerton Slopes and by the Stour River. Refreshments at the Shakespeare Win Bar. Thank you.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is fully heated with gas central heating, and instantaneous hot water boiler. Double French doors open from the living area to the front gardens. Children are welcome and it may be possible to accommodate five people if one is a small child. Please discuss with us. Sorry pets are not allowed and there is no smoking at this property. Outside: To the front is a formal style garden and walkway. However, there is a communal open grassed area to the rear of the property. In addition there is a covered cycle store if you bring bicycles or hire them locally. Additional items: Iron and Ironing board Clothes Airer All towels, tea towels and bed linen are included in the price. Changes of linen, towels and tea towels will be organised if the stay is for 2 or 3 weeks, by arrangement. There is no maid service.

Very clean and comfortable apartment

Great weekend in a very well equipped apartment close to the town centre and nearby coast. The snowy weather kept us away from the beaches but with only a 10 minute walk into Canterbury we made the most of our stay. The apartment was very warm and cozy on such a chilly weekend.

An excellent month's stay

I was in the process of moving to Canterbury and stayed at this flat for a month at the start of the year. The flat was everything I could have hoped for. It was clean, well maintained, easy to look after and a very helpful weekly service was carried out by the owners. The flat is just 10 minutes walk from the city centre, whilst maintaining its own quiet setting. I would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of a stay in Canterbury.

A gem behind the garden

We were delighted with our choice of accommodation in Canterbury. First of all, I can't say enough about our hosts...they provided excellent communication while booking the apartment and right through until after we left. The apartment was delightfully located In a very quiet area behind a garden. A lovely oasis! It was very clean, very bright and certainly was spacious for 4 adults. It was a treat to have 2 bathrooms! Location was excellent as It was about a 15 minute walk to the city centre. Highly recommended.

Great property

I can highly recommend this apartment, close to all amenities, an easy walk to the main centre of Canterbury and surrounds. The apartment was very clean and well equipped and I thank Adrian and Tina for being so accommodating to our needs. We felt very comfortable during our 3 week stay. City, Countryside and Coast!

There is a communal open grassed area to the rear of the property and gardens at the front. Walk ten minutes and you are in the city centre, drive 10 minutes and you are in the countryside.

The beaches of Whitstable, Herne Bay and surrounds are 20 minutes drive away and the south Kent beaches of Hythe (pebble), Dymchurch (sand) are from 30 minutes drive.

Travel Links:

The ferry port at Dover and Channel Tunnel at Folkestone are only a 30 minute drive. The main airport is Gatwick which is one and a quarter hour's drive. The Eurostar train from Europe stops at Ashford & there are regular train services from Ashford to Canterbury. London is 50 minutes from Canterbury on the Hi Speed Rail Service. Also a frequent London coach service (pick-up near apartment). Easy access to A2/M2 for Dover & London.

Or take a short bus ride from the bus stop outside the property to the centre of Canterbury. There is plenty to see and do in Kent and information on the area is included within the welcome pack at the apartment.
