Great family getaway, world class accommodation in a quiet country setting. The Scottish Highlands experience at its finest. The owners are great and the booking, payment, check in and check out was easy and painless. We will be coming back with more friends and family! (Mr O, 2013)

Truly magical holiday

  • 5 of 5

Our family of five stayed at Duncroisk July 2015 with one other family of five and we had the best week. The house is finished to an amazing standard, beautiful interiors and very comfortable. The weather was fantastic, we picnicked down by the river the children spent hours swimming. We tried out the kayaking on Loch Tay which we would highly recommend. Incredible walks directly from the house. This was one of our best holidays and we can't recommend it more highly. We can't wait to come back.

Such fun!

  • 5 of 5

We rented the house for a week as a joint effort with another family. It was absolutely perfect, both as a base for outdoor activities during the day, and for big dinners and jolly games in the evenings. The setting is idyllic; it really does feel like it is the middle of nowhere, despite being only 15 mins or so from the shops in Killin. We went for some lovely walks and picnics in the hills round about, and also down by Loch Tay. The house has obviously only just been done up, and to a much higher standard than you would ever imagine a rental property would be. The quality of everything from the duvets and towels to the cutlery and kitchen appliances really made us feel that no expense had been spared and that we had had a luxurious experience. One of our best holidays ever, and we definitely hope to do the same thing next year.

Superb Scottish accommodation

  • 5 of 5

The house is beautifully decorated in a simple, yet stylish way. The bedrooms are well laid out and the kitchen is excellent. The area around is perfect for outdoor activities from walking to kayaking and it is helpful that the local town of Killin is so near. I am hoping we can return for another fabulous family holiday very soon.

Wonderful House in a beautiful setting

  • 5 of 5

I have been up to Scotland on a number of occasions however have never enjoyed a stay as much as my time here. The house is beautifully appointed and very welcoming after a long day on the river or walking the hills. The rooms are all spacious and beds very comfy and the kitchen, dining and sitting rooms are perfect for entertaining or relaxing which ever mood takes you. I could not think of a better venue for friends or families to get away and will certainly be returning.

Outstanding

  • 5 of 5

Having now stayed at Duncroisk several times we felt we had to post a review. The house is fabulous and really does feel like home from home, hopefully we will be returning many times. The quality and attention to detail for a rental property are truly first class, from the excellent kitchen, wonderful sitting room looking onto the hills, the comfy beds, the lashings of hot water in well fitted bathrooms, drying rooms, internet, sky tv, I could go on and on. It is without doubt the best house I have rented when visiting the highlands. The only negative is having to leave.....
