Bourton-on-the-Water is known as 'Venice of the Cotswolds' and Cloisters cottage is located in the heart of the village, only 100 yards from the main street and the River Windrush is beautifully furnished, with period features including a wealth of beams, stone mullion leaded windows and exposed stone and timbers.This beautiful cottage boasts a wealth of character and benefits from generously proportioned rooms. Situated in the Heart of the Cotswolds, Bourton-on-the-Water is an ideal location for exploring the area. With the M4, M5 and M40 in close proximity, it is easily accessible from all parts of the country. The village was recently voted one of the prettiest in England on the strength of the beautiful old world Cotswold houses and the village green, traversed by six picturesque bridges spanning the River Windrush.

We are a small family business specialising in producing comfortable 'home from home' type holiday cottages in Cornwall, Devon and the Cotswolds. Each of our properties featured are owned and managed by ourselves. The benefit of this is that we know each property personally and this helps us provide a better service. Many of our guests return on a regular basis and some come by recommendation.   • Description of sleeping capacity: Sleeps 6 (3 Bedrooms) Notes on bedrooms: The first floor consists of double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both with en-suite shower rooms. The double bedroom contains a range of traditional oak furniture. There is another twin bedroom on the second floor, which features a vaulted ceiling.

Outside there is a small South facing garden which contains Cotswold stone walls and mature flower beds. There is also a detached garage, and off street parking for another car. Well behaved Dogs are accepted at an additional cost of £30 per pet, per week or short break booking. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All Bedlinen is provided and the beds will be made up ready. We leave a white bath sheet and a bath towel per person. The conservatory features a large oak refectory dining table with seating for six and is surrounded by exposed stone and timber and overlooks the garden.

This cottage has it all!

After self catering for more than 25 years, this cottage surpassed any expectations we had.

First, it was spotlessly clean. A ground floor half bath, fast wifi, cozy lounge and exceptionally equipped kitchen. I was very impressed with the inclusion of truly sharp kitchen knives, something usually lacking in other houses we've rented. *Be advised that the coffee pot is a French press, so you should have your coffee ground accordingly.

There were just two of us but all three bedrooms being ensuite is a big plus for families or friends traveling together. The second (top) floor bathroom was huge and included a tub.

The conservatory and garden are lovely. There's a garden bench and four place table in the garden to enjoy on sunny days and a six place table in the conservatory.

The location is superb, just a block from the river on a quiet street. There are restaurants, a bakery and food market within a 5 minute walk.

We highly recommend The Cloisters for your Bourton on the Water holiday.

Superb!

This cottage has it all. It has three lovely bedrooms a large kitchen and conservatory and a warm friendly lounge. You are never far away from a bathroom as there is one on the ground floor, two using the on suites on the first floor and a final bathroom on the top floor. Location is superb about 40 yards from the centre of the village yet no noise at all. Probably the best cottage that we have ever stayed in. You can't go wrong!

Booking Notes:
A deposit of a third of the full amount will be needed when the booking is made with the final balance due 6 weeks prior to the commencement date.

Generally short breaks are accepted from October – end of March but we will accept a short break booking in the high season, if we have availability close to the time.

Changeover Day:
The normal changeover day during the mid - high season is a FRIDAY.

Notes on prices:
Short breaks are generally only accepted from October – end of March, unless we have availability much closer to the time and the prices, taking into account maximum occupancy, are calculated on a percentage basis (not a nightly rate), e.g. 2 nights - 75%, 3 nights – 80% and 4 nights – 85% of the full weekly rate at that time and 5 – 7 nights will cost the full weekly price.

The deposit needed at the point of booking is a third of the full amount and the final balance is due 6 weeks prior to the commencement date.
