Great location for beach and town centre

  • 4 of 5

On the whole the cottage was great. It was very spacious and had everything in the kitchen you would need. The cottage itself was very clean and tidy and the location was fantastic with easy access to both the beach and town centre, however, there were a few negative points regarding our stay. On arrival, parking was very limited and we had to unload the car and carry everything down the street. Also, some days there were no parking spaces left on the street. In the downstairs bedroom the blind fixture was hanging out of the wall, which meant you couldn't pull down the blind. So as soon as it got light you were awake. I sent a text to the owner first thing Sunday morning but had no response so ended up spending the rest of the holiday sleeping on the settee. It stated that there was a barbecue, but there was no barbecue outside. And the upstairs toilet, when flushed, sounded like a fog horn!

Apart from that, we had a fantastic week and were comfortable in the cottage.

Well Presented Terrace

  • 4 of 5

We were quite happy with the terrace in terms of it's overall presentation and cleanliness. It was relatively spacious inside with a decent kitchen and a nice big bathroom. Parking was tight with a very narrow street to deal with, however we managed to get a park outside the house most days. Great location, only about 5 minutes walk from Weymouth beach and 2 pubs within 2 minutes, not bad at all!
