Superb one bedroom apartment with stunning sea views and large spacious terrace

Our apartment is situated in the quiet village of Los Gigantes and enjoys fantastic views of the sea and cliffs from the large two-tier spacious tiled terrace. It is just a few minutes walk from the shops and ideally located for walking in to the centre of Los Gigantes and Puerto Santiago. Beautifully furnished and well equipped for self-catering. There is a shared swimming pool and free on-road parking for any guests hiring a car.

Tastefully furnished apartment. Great week away.

The apartment was lovely, bed really comfortable, all the facilities necessary, and tastefully furnished. The list of restaurants provided was very helpful and we also tried KVbargourmet in the harbour which was our favourite although CKs, 23deg Tapas and the San Remo were very good too. The best breakfast was bar Sangria and their freshly squeezed orange the best.

Would have loved an extractor fan in the bathroom and would probably appreciate air con in the bedroom if staying during the Summer months.

My only disappointment was not having any sun on the terrace, which didn't bother my husband but I love to sunbathe; I am sure it will be different in the summer.

We used Tipsy Terrace for their Wifi as there was none in the apartment and could have used their pool free of charge. Steve has arranged free access for his clients and it is only a few minutes walk away. However, we used the Oasis Lido which was newly refurbished and had the benefit of the sea breeze and the sound of the sea. It was a bit pricey at €18 for two beds and a parasol but great food and service in the restaurant and also had a pool bar overlooking the sea.

Steve, the owner of the apartment provided great communication all the way and also arranged our airport transfers via his friend Mike who was brilliant both on the drive and as a mine of information about the locality.

We would have no hesitation booking with Steve again or with recommending his apartments to our friends.

Brilliant location

Lovely Apartment well equipped and maintained terrace as spectacular views of Los Gigantes cliffs and sea within easy walking distance to Gigantes and santiago will definitely return again very very soon.

Lovely, well appointed apartment

Just what we needed for rest and relaxation. A well appointed, fantastically maintained and fully equipped apartment in a great location. Quiet and peaceful but close enough to some lovely restaurants and the harbour. The whale and dolphin spotting boat trip is a must!

Customer service was excellent, making booking and arrival easy.

Excellent Apartment

The Apartment is certainly in the right place and the pool just up the road which is also lovely

Weather was beautiful lots of shops and restaurants around and a short walk through the back to Puerto Santiago (around 10mins) is just perfect.

The terrace is beautiful and very spacious which is always a plus.

If you are looking for a well equipped and good location then this is the apartment for you.

Top accomadation at 10 Crab Island

This was our second stay in this beautifully furnished Apartment Of Steve & Anne's. The property is well maintained to a high standard and spotlessly clean. The location is in the quieter part of resort and within easy walking distance of The centre of Los Gigantes & Santiago. Here there are many good bars and restaurants in both resorts. Although we did eat in a few nights, sitting out on the upper terrace looking out on the ocean as the sun was setting, with glass of wine in hand, superb.

We would have no hesitation in recommding this charming apartment to anybody.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

There is a good selection of nearby beaches. The volcanic black sand beach in Los Gigantes is a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Also within walking distance (15 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car) are the blue flag beaches of Puerto Santiago and Playa de la Arena. Playa San Juan has a white sandy beach with excellent beach bar facilities and is 10 minutes by car.

Travel:

Tenerife South Airport (Reina Sofia) is an approximate 45 minute drive. Car hire is available at the airport and in the village. Taxis are readily available at the airport and are approximately 60 Euros each way. There is also a taxi rank in the village which offers an excellent service and can be pre-booked on-line or by telephone.

Distances:

The local towns of Playa San Juan and Alcala are within a 15 minute drive or a short bus ride.

There is a lovely coastline walk to Puerto Santiago (approx 1 km) and Playa de la Arena (approx 3 km).

The apartment is within walking distance of all the restaurants, supermarkets, tennis courts and the marina. In Los Gigantes everything is accessible on foot.

Further Details:

Daily fishing and whale/dolphin watching trips leave the marina. There is an accredited diving school in the marina offering courses for beginners and more advanced divers. Walking is very popular and organised tours can be arranged via agents in Los Gigantes. Just a few minutes walk from the apartment are pay and play tennis courts with an excellent restaurant.

There is a great selection of restaurants and bars all within walking distance. The picturesque marina is an excellent spot to enjoy a glass of wine or beer late afternoon. Most of the bars offer good quality evening entertainment.

Wifi is available locally at many restaurants/bars and there is an internet cafe.

Los Gigantes has an ideal climate for year round holidaying.

A Visitors Information book is available in the apartment detailing restaurants and places of interest you may wish to visit during your stay.

For your safety there are no gas appliances in the apartment. Outside: There are two terraces measuring a total of 520 square feet. The upper terrace has two sun loungers and a four seater rattan sofa with parasol. The lower terrace has a dining table and four chairs and is perfect for alfresco dining. Our guests will have free access to the heated outdoor swimming pool and sunbathing area at Tipsy Terrace which is just a 2 minute walk.
