A modern, newly-decorated, holiday home, situated within York’s city walls.

The apartment is on the first floor of a three-storey block of six flats in total, sharing a secure car park.

Set within a small, neatly maintained and peaceful, communal garden, the apartment comprises an entrance hall, sitting room, breakfast kitchen, twin bedroom, master bedroom and bathroom.

In the sitting room are two large leather sofas, one of which converts into a comfortable double bed, a flat widescreen television with digital channels and a Blu-Ray DVD player. The fully-fitted kitchen contains everything you need to feel at home including a dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, cafetiere and

toaster.

There are electric heaters in each room and an electric immersion tank for hot water.

All York’s museums (Railway, Castle, Yorkshire and Chocolate - York’s Sweet History) are but a short stroll away, as are two cinemas, both theatres and the Barbican concert venue. York Racecourse is also within walking distance.

Lovely city centre apartment!

  • 5 of 5

Great communication with the owner & as a family of 4 with two young boys this apartment was perfect for us. We parked the car & didn't use it again for the rest of our 4 day break. The apartment is ideally located for York town centre, a short stroll across one of the bridges & you are in the lovely town centre. The apartment is superbly well equipped & the boys appreciated the 'smart' tv! It is comfortable & very quiet considering it is such a short distance from the centre of York.

We have booked this apartment again for a pre Christmas break & the boys are delighted to return!

Owner's Response: We bought the apartment to use as a family so we know that it works for guests with children! The Smart TV is a recent addition and my teenagers are not impressed that it's better than our TV at home! Not that you need to watch much TV in York - there is so much to do for all ages - but because everything is within a few minutes walk, it's possible to keep popping back for a spell of relaxation before going out to explore some more!

Great property, great location.

Perfect for our short stay in York. Modern, clean and very comfortable. Quiet at night for a good sleep. Only a few minutes walk to the city centre and attractions.

Good secure parking space to leave the car as not required to get around York.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your review. It never fails to amaze us that the apartment is so quiet, despite being only around the corner from the hub bub of the city centre. Being able to park your car so securely and at no charge is unusual for properties within the walls and was another of the key factors that influenced our decision to buy. We hope to welcome you back sometime.

The perfect place for us!

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is quiet, secure, spotlessly clean, and well- appointed with everything you will need for your stay. We didn't have a car, so the fact that it is 10 minute walk to the railway station and a 10 minute walk across the bridge into York was a plus. I loved that there was a radio so we could listen to the news. We didn't watch TV or DVD's but they were available, too. The owner was available for any questions or needs we had. I would highly recommend this apartment for your visit to York. Carol B., Boston, MA, USA

Owner's Response: It was a pleasure having you both to stay - sending me photos of you before arrival and during your stay was a lovely personal touch and I am really pleased that the apartment suited all your needs. Despite not having car, you managed to visit the Dales and the Moors in your itinerary, proving what a perfectly central location York is for anyone wanting to explore the whole region. I'm not surprised that you didn't find time to watch TV though!

Great location. Very well equipped and immaculate apartment. The owner was very responsive to our needs and travel arrangements and was only a phone call away. We would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends and hope to return one day.

A quick 5- minute walk from the apartment gets you into the pedestrian-friendly city centre. The apartment was clean, bright and well-equipped. Highly recommended for visitors to York.

Owner's Response: Delighted that the apartment suited your needs. When looking for a property in York, location was the key to our choice of Queens Court (along with having a little garden to look out onto) and it's great to know that our guests appreciate that too!
