A modern, newly-decorated, holiday home, situated within York’s city walls.

The apartment is on the first floor of a three-storey block of six flats in total, sharing a secure car park.

A coded gateway, located under the archway entrance, ensures security for the small complex.

Set within a small, neatly maintained and peaceful, communal garden, the apartment comprises an entrance hall, sitting room, breakfast kitchen, twin bedroom, master bedroom and bathroom.

In the sitting room are two large leather sofas, one of which converts into a comfortable double bed, a flat widescreen television with digital channels and a Blu-Ray DVD player. A selection of DVDs, games and many books about York - its history and attractions - are all provided, as is broadband internet access.

The fully-fitted kitchen contains everything you need to feel at home including a dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, cafetiere and

toaster.

There are electric heaters in each room and an electric immersion tank for hot water.

All York’s museums (Railway, Castle, Yorkshire and Chocolate - York’s Sweet History) are but a short stroll away, as are two cinemas, both theatres and the Barbican concert venue. York Racecourse is also within walking distance.

For motorists, Queens Court provides a secure, allocated parking space. It is equally convenient for the railway station and Park & Ride bus stops.

Notes on accommodation: Please note that this is a non-smoking apartment. Not ideal for children under school age (ask owner). No pets. Outside: The apartment is set within a small, neatly maintained and peaceful, communal garden that includes a small lawn area perfect for barbecues or picnics, a small table and chairs. There is also an allocated parking bay and a secure bicycle storage area. The outside area is accessed only via coded double gates underneath an archway. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Good quality towels, modern bedding and an end of rental clean are all included in the price. A mid-term clean and linen change can be requested for stays of more than one week, at an additional cost. This is compulsory for stays of more than a fortnight. Other: A welcoming hallway, with bespoke design wood effect flooring, houses coat hooks, shoe storage and a secure telephone door entry system.

Lovely city centre apartment!

Great communication with the owner & as a family of 4 with two young boys this apartment was perfect for us. We parked the car & didn't use it again for the rest of our 4 day break. The apartment is ideally located for York town centre, a short stroll across one of the bridges & you are in the lovely town centre. The apartment is superbly well equipped & the boys appreciated the 'smart' tv! It is comfortable & very quiet considering it is such a short distance from the centre of York.

We have booked this apartment again for a pre Christmas break & the boys are delighted to return!

Owner's Response: We bought the apartment to use as a family so we know that it works for guests with children! The Smart TV is a recent addition and my teenagers are not impressed that it's better than our TV at home! Not that you need to watch much TV in York - there is so much to do for all ages - but because everything is within a few minutes walk, it's possible to keep popping back for a spell of relaxation before going out to explore some more!

Fabulous apartment close to everything

We came to York by train from Manchester Airport and could walk to this apartment from the Train Station in under 10 minutes...so convenient. Our home for the week was spotless and very comfortable. The grocery store was just around the corner and quite well stocked. The location was perfect, just a few minutes from the river, and the centre of town. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting York!!!

Lovely apartment, well presented and spotlessly clean

The apartment Is well placed to the city centre but lovely and quiet too. It is beautifully finished, clean and modern with a well equipped kitchen. The beds are very comfortable with good quality pillows and duvets. The bathroom is modern and very clean with an excellent shower and plenty of hot water. Good heating ensured the apartment was always warm. We had a very pleasant stay and would certainly stay here again in the future. It is highly recommended.

Just the job

This apartment was perfect for our needs. We booked it for a last minute stay for a few days over half term. It was great for our family of three, and would be just as good for four. It's comfortable and modern, a cosy place to relax after a day's sightseeing in York. Location-wise it's just a short walk to the main attractions of the city while being on a quiet street away from the crowds and traffic, and there are some nice cafe and restaurants nearby.

Convenient and quiet location to access York

We stayed here whilst visiting our daughter who is at the University. It is extremely convenient for accessing the City centre, which was only a few minutes walk away. It was also quiet and benefitted from the secure off street (gated) parking. It was very clean and well presented, was fully equipped for everything we needed and very comfortable. The owner was extremely helpful and ensured it was both a smooth and enjoyable visit for us. We would definitely like to use this apartment when we visit again and would recommend it to others.

Fantastic apartment in a fantastic locaton.

When my wife and I realised that we needed last minute apartment accommodation for our young family in central York, we were fearful we'd be left high and dry. But to our good fortune, we stumbled across 4 Queen's Court which not only offered great space and a great location, but also a car parking space to boot! I have to say that the apartment was immaculate and very comfortable. A clean kitchen with great dining table. A seriously homely living room with two great sofas and a great TV. One very comfy master bedroom, and a twin room with enough space between the beds for a travel cot. Thanks to Debbie being so helpful in answering our queries, we booked our small family in for a stay of 4 nights, with us two parents sleeping in the master, where we also had a travel cot for our baby, and then our older child slept in the twin room in a travel cot. Both of our under twos really settled in over the 4 nights and us parents were able to relax as well - the apartment ticked every box. We would thoroughly recommend the apartment and if in the future we return to York then we would look no further than 4 Queen's Court - it was ace! Thank you Debbie.
