Apartment, York City Centre, England - Modern apartment in a peaceful area within the city walls. Two bedrooms. Secure parking. Free Wifi

A modern, newly-decorated, holiday home, situated within York’s city walls.

The apartment is on the first floor of a three-storey block of six flats in total, sharing a secure car park.

Fantastic apartment in a fantastic locaton.

  • 5 of 5

When my wife and I realised that we needed last minute apartment accommodation for our young family in central York, we were fearful we'd be left high and dry. But to our good fortune, we stumbled across 4 Queen's Court which not only offered great space and a great location, but also a car parking space to boot! I have to say that the apartment was immaculate and very comfortable. A clean kitchen with great dining table. A seriously homely living room with two great sofas and a great TV. One very comfy master bedroom, and a twin room with enough space between the beds for a travel cot. Thanks to Debbie being so helpful in answering our queries, we booked our small family in for a stay of 4 nights, with us two parents sleeping in the master, where we also had a travel cot for our baby, and then our older child slept in the twin room in a travel cot. Both of our under twos really settled in over the 4 nights and us parents were able to relax as well - the apartment ticked every box. We would thoroughly recommend the apartment and if in the future we return to York then we would look no further than 4 Queen's Court - it was ace! Thank you Debbie.

Owner's Response: Wow! Thanks Nick. It was great to be able to help you out last minute. The fact that you found a way to accommodate a toddler and a baby was a learning curve for us and, I am sure, will be useful to know for others requiring similar sleeping arrangements - thanks for being our tester! I look forward to welcoming you again sometime.

Owner's Response: Hi Anne Thank you for your review. We have tried to really make it 'home from home' by living in it ourselves at least twice a year so that we can go out and buy any items are not in the apartment that we find we either need or would like to have. Hopefully that benefits our guests too!

Excellent

  • 5 of 5

We both had an excellent time in this apartment and would highly recommend it to anyone else who are thinking of staying in York.

The apartment was spotless with everything one needed and in a first class location with only a short walk to the city centre.

Location, Location, Location

We stayed a week at this property and enjoyed every minute. From the start Debbie was so helpful especially since we gave her two days notice from booking to arrival! The property was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The location was right next to the River Ouze inside the old walls and perfect for walking everywhere. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again!

Owner's Response: Thank you Marilyn. I am so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Sometimes last minute holidays can be the best! Thank you also for testing my ability to turn around a booking in a very short time scale. Now I know it can be done! I look forward to welcoming you back sometime soon.

Excellent property: central location and parking

  • 5 of 5

We were delighted to stay in this property. The location was fantastic, very central and with parking. Although it was central it was also quiet.

The property itself was a good size, with excellent facilities.

Everything was to an excellent standard and I would very much recommend this property.

Thank you to Debbie and also to the cleaning team. :-)
