We had a lovely holiday at Breakaway Lodge, the lodge was very well equipped, it had everything you needed and more. The lodge is in a great location to explore local areas. The communication with Jules was fantastic and Jules was very good and re- arranged our stay due to a family emergency. I would highly recommend and i hope to visit again in the future.

Thank you.

Superb! Great accommodation, very cosy with everything you would find in your own home! Nestled in the woods, we loved seeing all the wildlife right outside our doors. Owners thought of everything to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. Great location for sightseeing and the site staff were friendly and helpful.

Idyllic getaway

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful place to stay, the lodge is so clean and tidy and welcoming. Everything you need is there plus things you never thought of too.

Onsite are all the facilities if needed, or you can stay in the lodge and look out at the beautiful surroundings.

My daughter loved everything about the lodge and the holidays village.

Definitely going back again next year.

Well equipped, clean, great location, brilliant!

  • 5 of 5

Small but perfectly formed! It has everything you could need, including a small first aid kit (which we thankful didn't need!) and a very well equipped kitchen - including things like dishwasher tablets, tin foil and cling film. Very clean and beautifully decorated with great attention to detail and thoughtfulness. I think it offered great value for money and the location is great too - it's easy to drive into St Ives or get the train. The onsite entertainment was much loved by our kids and the pool is nice too. The only tiny thing that could be improved is some hooks on the back of the bathroom door for towels but that really is a minor thing! If you have small children, it's worth pointing out there is a large shower but no bath - our two year old wasn't keen on having showers but she got used to it. If you wanted to bring a baby bath you could easily store it in the shower when you weren't using it. It's all on one level so no stairs to worry about with kids. Great to have the DVD player, we took our own but there are some there you can watch too. We couldn't get much mobile reception in the lodge itself but could get on to wifi in the club house. Thanks for a great holiday we will definitely be back next year!

As we live in St Ives, with the picturesque surroundings, plenty of beaches, historic places and local culture, we are privileged to have the opportunity to share this stunning peninsula of West Cornwall with our guests. We chose a property within the established John Fowler St Ives Holiday Village as the infrastructure allows guests to enjoy all the well-planned facilities during the season, or as a complete break away during the more peaceful and tranquil winter months.
