A fully detached three bedroom villa with own private pool and garden, situated in the rural area of the southern village of Zurrieq. This luxury-end property features five star finishing within an eco friendly structure that maintains harmony with its surroundings, taking full advantage of the beauty and serenity of the area. Located just ten minutes away from the Malta International Airport, this villa is immersed in typical Maltese countryside with breathtaking sea and countryside views overlooking the Wied Babu Valley, Hagar Qim temples, extending up to the silent city of Mdina, Rabat, Mosta Dome, Valletta and St. Julians. It is a perfect location to explore the beauty of the southern coast with its main feature being the picturesque Blue Grotto which is only a 30 minute walk from the property. Unique Ghar Lapsi is also a 15 minute drive away from the Villa.

Comfort was not spared in its elegant furnishings. On entering the property through a private drive-in (which can easily hold 3 cars), you will find yourself in the midst of the property, with its iconic pool which is accessed with a ladder (measuring 5.1m x 10.7m and 1.42m deep), Sauna, BBQ, outside dining facilities and surrounding garden which offers breathtaking views of its surroundings. An outside bathroom adds comfort when relaxing by the pool.

Inside the villa, you are welcomed in an open plan, fully equipped kitchen, dining and lounge area, and three bedrooms.

The fully equipped kitchen, which is built in tastefully solid wood furniture, is an ideal place to prepare a nice meal. It overlooks the pool area and benefits from a welcoming natural light. It enjoys an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, a coffee machine, washing machine and a dishwasher. The dining table is large enough to entertain a group of 8 persons.

The living area enjoys generous seating space to have some quality time with your family or friends. The sofa can accomodate an additional 2 persons by using the sofa bed. This area enjoys a flat screen TV with digital TV Channels, a Playstation 3 with an integrated Blu-ray DVD player and a bluetooth speaker

A guest WC is also available with a single washbasin and a WC.

All three bedrooms surround the side of the open plan and each enjoys its own ensuite. They all benefit from natural light and overlooks the surrounding garden.

The First bedroom has a double bed, dressing table and a spacious wardrobe and a flat screen TV with digital channels. It also enjoys an ensuite which is equipped with a hydro massage bath, shower, WC and a vanity unit with a single washbasin.

The Second bedroom also enjoys a double bed and a large wardrobe. Its ensuite is equipped with a spacious shower, WC and vanity unit with a single washbasin.

The Third bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and a desk. It also has a Flat screen TV with digital channels. Its ensuite has a shower, WC and a vanity unit with a single washbasin.

The property is fully air conditioned and offers free WIFI. A hairdryer and ironing facilities are also available.

The pricing of the villa includes bed linen, 2 towels per person (one small and one large) and a pool towel per person. It also includes weekly housekeeping including change of linen.

For our younger guests we offer free cots and high chairs which needs to be booked in advanced.

The villa is a 6 minute walk from the nearest bus stop (Gibjun), 20 minute walk from the town centre. A grocer is also a 10 minute walk away from the property. Various restaurants are available in the Blue Grotto area and the town centre. Ghar Lapsi also offers nice dining experiences together with a beautiful coastal area. More diverse food outlets together with fast food restaurants can be found at the airport and its neighbouring Skyparks building – 10 minute away.

A rocky beach is found at Blue Grotto (30 minute walk or 7 minute drive), another beautiful rocky beach is found at Ghar Lapsi. The nearest sandy beach is at Birzebbuga which is a 20 minute drive away from the property.

Secluded oasis

The property was in excellent shape and appropriately appointed for a rental. The pool was refreshing with a view over a big swath of Maltese countryside. We stayed here with our three children and had plenty of room. Each of the three bedroom suites was modern and well furnished with private en-suite bathrooms. The house was tastefully decorated while also child safe enough for our one and three year olds. In terms of opportunities, the sauna was inconvenient, as we would have needed to arrange with the owner 24 hours ahead of when we wanted to use it, We would have much preferred clear instructions and the ability to use it ad hoc. The location of the property is both a positive (relatively secluded and private) and an opportunity (down a rough road that made it unappealing to leave the house on foot). The gated grounds of the property itself were practical and well maintained. Eating a meal on the patio as the sun goes down is a relaxing experience!

Great Villa

We were impressed with the villa, it was just as it appeared on the website and it suited the 6 of us perfectly.

We would like to thank Janice and the office staff for their help during our stay. On arrival the pool was a little cloudy, this was rectified the same day and Janice helped us print our return flight boarding passes.

A cafetiere in the kitchen and another 2 seater settee in the lounge would be good.

The location was great, out of the village with panoramic views.

We would recommend the villa to our friends and family.

Stunning villa

The villa is well equipped, clean and beautiful furnished. The outside area is very secure and only having the main door into the garden made the villa secure when we were all by the pool. Great base for exploring Malta and then coming back for a nice swim in that lovely pool. The team were great at sorting anything we request and this was done the same day. Thank you

Stunning property all round!

Myself and some friends stayed here for 2 weeks and it was fantastic. The villa was wonderful and had everything we could need and more.

The only negative comment would be the beds are a little hard and after 2 weeks we were all getting a bit uncomfortable sleeping on them but as that was our only very minor issue I would still highly recommend this beautiful property.

The furnishings were all to a very high standard and the pool was amazing! Had lovely views of the island and we watched the sunset most evenings.

Janice and the team have been so helpful throughout the whole booking process and the duration of our stay. We were all sad to leave and hope to return in the future.

Fresh and in great shape

We had rather cold weather so hardly no use of pool area.

Everything in the house was great even if we also would like a coffee machine as earlier quests

We went to Mdina and Marsaxlokk. Both great visits

Also one day in Valetta but rainy and too much people

The restaurants around Blu Grotto and especially Il Corsaro was great

Perfect but for a couple of minor "disappointments"

Gorgeous house, view, and pool but a few improvements would make it even better: the beds were very uncomfortable, an extra mattress is a must (bedsprings could be felt at all times); the coffee maker makes only one cup at a time and the house sleeps six or eight persons - there should be a larger one available! The villa is an upscale property, these minor things wouldn't have bothered me as much in a less exclusive and less exciting property. All in all we had a splendid stay and wouldn't hesitate to return to Zurrieq.

The village of Zurrieq enjoys supermarkets, banks, post office and all daily necessities shops. One can also finds plenty of Hairdressing shops and beauty salons. The village of Zurrieq also enjoys quite some historic sites such as windmills, catacombs, churches, towers and palaces.

Bookings are only confirmed on receiving of 50% deposit payment of the stay. Remainder is paid 20 days prior to arrival at the villa. A €300 breakage deposit is also paid on arrival and refunded upon inspection of the villa and no damages are found.
Sauna is available at an extra cost of €30 per use. This needs to be booked in advance.
