The property is owned by Joanna and Mark Bloomer, who live in Solihull, West Midlands. They have owned the property since it was built and Plan to retire there in about 100 years!

Nice, well equipped, very clean, comfortable in the hottest weather, beautiful mountain views
We had a wonderful holiday - apartment was great, the location wonderful and the days were long! Emi, the complex manager very helpful in settling us in. Always on hand to answer questions. The wifi and beautiful pool satisfied my teenagers and gave us the peace we craved, the views from the terraces are spectacular, a great base from which to explore the Sierras. Each night we ate in local tapas bars; wonderful balmy evenings in an atmospheric location. A real Spanish experience. Would definitely recommend.
The apartment is very well equipped and we really enjoyed the roof terraces with wonderful views of the mountains. Velez de Banaudalla is a great base from which to visit many interesting places in Andalusia. Granada is only 45 minutes away, the coast 15 minutes, lots of unique mountain villages. Don't miss Nerja caves. The village of Velez de Banaudalla is friendly and fun to food shop with several bars and restaurants to enjoy. We had a fun and memorable vacation.
We stayed in Velez between 1st & 8th July. Set in loverly grounds the sun seemed to shine through the apartment in the right place at the right time. We did not use the A/C as the cool wind rolling down from the hills was perfect at night. The apartment is we'll equipped with all you need.
Velez is a beautifully peaceful town with enough bars and restaurants to satisfy the most ardent of food junkies. The coast is only a few miles away but for the ultimate chill out, lie by thé pool just outside your door, with a good book and let the rest of the world pass you by. I'll be back there as soon as i can. (Must visit) the dam just up the road and the snow topped mountains just in the distance.
Very comfortable apartment
The apartment is large, well equipped and very comfortable. We ate out on the terrace overlooking the hills most evenings which was fab. The beaches at Motril and Salobrena are a short drive away, as are lots of small towns offering walks, fantastic scenery and local produce. Would happily book the apartment again.
Just back from a very successful two week stay. The apartment was very comfortable and was very well equipped. It was beautifully situated with superb views from the two sunny terraces. We had everything we needed. There were plenty of places to eat and drink in the village with very friendly locals. The two small supermarkets and the wonderful local bread shops plus the weekly market supplied all we needed.
The complex and pool were beautifully kept by Emi who was very helpful.
Do explore the village. It has some beautiful gardens and many water features. This is a wonderful base for exploring this area of Spain.

Activity and Interests
Salobrena beach and town are a 15 minutes car drive away. The beach has a wealth of small and large "Cherenguitos", shops and garden areas
Malaga airport is just 1hr 10 minutes drive away, Whilst Granada airport is just 35 minutes drive.
The local village of Velez De Benaudalla is literally on your doorstep, Whilst the nearest town of Motril is just a 15 minute car drive away. Many large supermarkets, DIY stores, Banks and a Mc donalds are here.
As the property sits in the foothills of the Alipujara mountains, there are miles of walks to be found as well as mountain bike trails.

If paying by internet transfer, A £100 deposit is payable upon booking and full payment of the balance, 4 weeks before your arrival. A £150 breakage deposit is also payable at the time of balance payment. This will be refunded (less any breakages or damage) within 2 weeks of your departure. If paying on line, the full amount is required upon booking.A 150 euro damage deposit (refundable at the end of your stay) And a 60 euro payment to cover laundering and cleaning costs must be paid to the keyholder on arrival.
Changeover day is usually Saturday but this can be flexible. Departure time can be agreed with the key holder who will be as flexible as possible to accommodate your flight times.
