Villa in Benalmadena Pueblo, Costa del Sol, Spain - Peaceful Location Few Minutes Drive To Beach

The urbanisation of La Capellania is a quiet and private development which is only 20 minutes drive from Malaga Airport.

The Villa is walled, gated, very secluded and set in large mature gardens. It boasts 2 terraces one of which has an electric awning should the sun become too much. There is a covered bar area with a gas bbq, fridge and seating which overlooks the swimming pool.

Close to the villa, there is a well equipped supermarket, pharmacy, newsagents, cafe/bar restaurants and cash point.

There is a bus stop at the top of the urbanisation which will take you to Benalmadena Pueblo, a traditional white walled village with a cobbled stone square, with numerous bars and restaurants, priced to suit all pockets, a five minute drive away.

Ten minutes by bus or car will take you to Arroyo de Miel, a large town where you can board a train into Malaga or Fuengirola. Tivoli World Park is also in Arroyo de Miel, suitable for toddlers to teenagers or there is a butterfly park en route. The Port of Malaga has a fabulous new Marina and the Picasso Museum is a must for art lovers.

Mijas Pueblo is a 20 minute drive, again a white walled village with lots of small streets, with shops. bars, restaurants, a bullring and if you fancy a tour of Mijas Pueblo you can hire a donkey and cart. The views to the coast here is spectacular.

The local beach is a 5 minute drive, where there are 2 beach bars, comfortable sunbeds and unspoilt surroundings, or 15 minutes and you are in Benalmadena Marina (Moorish in style). Boat excursions are available ie dolphin watching, and there is a sea life centre, numerous shops or you can enjoy a relaxing dinner overlooking the Marina.

All of the above and the comforts of a luxury villa will make your holiday a memorable one.

My husband and i live in Somerset with our son and 2 dogs. We run our own business and i work part-time in the local post office. We have owned a property on the Costa del sol for 12 years,after renovating the first villa we sold it to friends and bought our current property 6 years ago. We have furnished our home to a very high standard not a typical holiday rental but because of work commitments have decided to rent it for short periods.You will find it home from home .Enjoy.

Everything we'd hoped for

Our week was a bit overcast, but it was warm and we had sun every day at some points with two scorchers to finish up with. There was also some heavy rainfall to freshen everything up. The villa housed us easily and is very well equipped, super outdoor areas, but we had to keep a careful eye on the three girls (5 and 2) around the pool. Very pretty and secluded gardens. Several visits to the beach (fairly quiet with good family restaurants), a day in Malaga (surprisingly chic and interesting, massive Christmas light display going up, tapas lunch in the market) and a couple of trips to Pueblo which was a charming revelation (family evening meal outside in the cheaper of the two restaurants at the church square - amazing value).

And the trip to the airport was great, so near. Used Niza car rental which was efficient, quiet, friendly and non-pushy - and I suppose cheap, can't remember. Just for info, I take out an excess insurance with Quaestor in UK - the annual premium is much the same as one car-rental excess, so if we travel more than once it pays for itself (although I've never had to claim yet).

Outstanding property

We stayed here for a week in October 2016. The villa is furnished to a remarkably high standard and the housekeepers do a great job in keeping the villa clean and making you feel welcome on arrival. We stayed as 4 adults and 2 children, everyone enjoyed the pool and the bar and barbecue areas were well utilised by the adults.

This villa is in a residential area so do not expect to be partying the night away close by. We found travel by car was easy and would definitely recommend this villa as a nice spot for a group of people wishing to relax in beautiful surroundings. Big shout out to the owner and housekeepers who were amazing throughout the booking process and during our stay- thank you

Great location and superb area.

What can I say- we've been here twice already and just getting better each time.Beautiful area, very well kept and quite.Spacious with plenty of space for everyone, outside area is super neat and clean with beautiful garden and perfect size swimming pool.Inside you'll find everything you need for your everyday needs.We'll be definitely be back again.

This Villa looked amazing from the photo and description on the website. In reality it was superb. Everything was in top class condition. All equipment provided. Tina and Chris who look after the property for Adele the owner were so accommodating, meeting us late at night and taking us to the Villa. We had E-mailed them prior and they bought some supplies for us. The pool was magnificent and of a very good size - our Grandchildren loved it and used it extensively. The gardners trimmed the hedges, cut the grass and the pool was cleaned during the week we were there. Adele the Owner, has spared no expense in maintaining the property and she responded to E-mails prior to our stay, very quickly which gave much confidence. All of the description on the website about the Villa is absolutely genuine. 100% recommended.

Beautifully located,maintained and equipped villa

We stayed in the beautiful villa to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday with a family holiday, our daughters and partners and our 3 grandchildren joined us. The villa was of a very high standard and the fixtures and fittings are also of a very high quality. The outside space including the wonderful pool was where we spent most of our days as it was just perfect for the children and adults alike to relax and play and enjoy the lovely Spanish weather. We felt very safe in this location as the villa is very private with high walls and a large electric gate across the drive. The villa is located close to supermarkets and shops which is very convenient. The main town of Benalmadena is a 20 minute drive away so car hire is a must although there was buses available and taxis were very reasonablly priced. The local Pueblo is a lovely village that we visited 3 times during our stay and another local town of Mijas is a must see. The villa is situated close to motorway junction so is within easy reach of the airport and other large towns along the Costa del sol. If your looking for a lovely property to spend time relaxing with your family like we did then this is the perfect property that we will definitely return too and have hesitation recommending.

Perfect!

Booked this lovely Villa for our summer holiday and my Husband's 40th Birthday. There was a party of 7 people and the Villa was perfect. The house itself is a really good size with plenty of space for us all.

The 2 bathrooms made it easy for us all to get ready in the evenings and the upstairs bathroom was practical like new. The pool was bigger than we expected and the garden along with the football net was brilliant for my 6 year old son. The BBQ house complete with disco ball and disco lights made the evenings in fun with the kids. We had 2 cars which fitted easily into the drive way and the large outer wall made the Villa feel safe and secure. Air conditioning to the rooms also made the Villa more comfortable. Chris and Tina showed us around the Villa and could not have been anymore helpful and even had a birthday cake made for my husband. Thank you to Adele for lending us her lovely Villa and we would recommend this property to anyone. We will definitely return at some stage in the future. Thanks again to everyone involved for making it a great holiday! Kelly

Benalmadena pueblo is only a 5 minute drive which is one of our favourite places to go whether it be summer or winter it has such charm.At Christmas and New year the lights and religious festivals are a sight to behold and the weather can be amazing. If i am going away i like all the comforts of home so why settle for anything less,that's what you get at our villa. A car is not essential but recommended,there is a bus stop at the top of the urbanization which takes you to Arroyo de miel where you can board a train to Malaga and Fuengirola,but taxis are very reliable and good for shorter journeys.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

Nearest beach is a 5 minute drive from the villa, unspoilt, sun-beds, restaurant where they make a fabulous paella and on a Sunday, lovely roast lamb with their traditional potato dish.There are many lovely beaches on the Costa-del-sol. If you are looking for a lively beach, Cabopino has a lovely marina with lots of restaurants and the beach has been awarded the Blue Flag.

Travel:

Malaga Airport is a 20 minute drive, your hosts will give you directions to our villa.

If you are hiring a car we can recommend a reputable company which we ourselves use, they meet you at the airport (no queues) and there are no hidden extras.

If you decide not to hire a car we can recommend a transport company to pick you up and take you to our villa.

Distances:

5 minutes walk to local shops and bar/restaurants

15 minutes walk to Benalmadena Pueblo

There is a local bus at the top of the urbanisation which will take you to the Pueblo and Arroyo de Miel where you can board a train which will take you to Fuengirola or the fabulous city of Malaga.

Once you have booked i will email a contract to you with all the information you need and your housekeepers details who look after you during your stay as they will be meeting you at the villa upon your arrival

La Capellania is a very sought after urbanization beautifully maintained and mostly residential and it is only 20 minutes from the airport and is very accessible to shops restaurants and beaches etc. We have improved the property over the years,the outside bar area being one of them which is lovely in the evening enjoying a drink overlooking the pool,which has been totally retiled this year. We have a large mature garden very private and not overlooked,this is maintained weekly as well as the pool. As the villa is walled and gated it is very secure for children, with lots of room for them to play. My housekeepers will accomodate you, should you require a celebration cake baloons,flowers for a birthday, anniversary or wedding
