Cottage in Falmouth, Cornwall - Three Beaches So-called Because The House Faces Falmouth's Best Beaches Which Are Across The Road.

Three Beaches so-called because Falmouths three best beaches are just across the road, this very comfortable semi-detached house , originally an old coast guard cottage , enjoys wonderful views out into Falmouths Bay.

Set in an elevated position above the road and providing broadband access.Three Beaches has a sun room that makes the most of the stupendous views, with French doors to the large raised front terraced. The sitting room / dinning room shares the veiw and the fully equiped kitchen leads out to the landscaped garden.

Upstairs, the master bedroom has stunning bay views , that can be appreciated from the comfort of bed. The twin second bedroom overlooks the rear garden .There is a Spacious family bathroom.

All the attractions of this thriving sailing town are within walking distance ,including water sport tution on Giillingvase beach( see photograph).nearby leisure centre ,National Maritine museum.A multitude of resturaurents ,bars ,shops & the marina . ferry service to St Mawes , Helford river & Truro , truly stunning water trips.

I have been successfully letting 3 Beaches as a holiday home for some years via a well known management company . Now I have relocated to Falmouth and have taken 3 Beaches under my own management.

I hope you will enjoy this very special home as much as I do & many loyal guests who return year after year .

Where ever I travel & live in the world ,this beach house is very hard to better , going to sleep with the sound of the Sea and waking up looking at the Ocean has to be one of the very best things.

3 Beaches has it all , sunny south westerly facing position overlooking the most beautiful bay with 3 golden sandy beaches all just minutes from the front door. The sea can be gazed at from any window, including from bed.Looking out to sea feels like everything has been left behind .

Then , for a change you can walk into Falmouth town in 10 minutes, for some the best restaurants , pubs , cafes in the south west which suit every need , a world class Marina ,the National Maritime Museum & this year the Tall Ships !

Not forgetting the stunning Harbour location with ferrys to take you on some of the most beautiful boat trips you will take , I am as you can tell very enthusiastic about 3 Beaches and Falmouth, we have never scored under 99% for location with guests recommendations.

What makes this house unique

There are only so many properties built in this location in Falmouth , making 3 beaches a rare property that has so much to offer for all members of the family .You can park your Car for a week and do everything on foot. Walk to the beaches ,into town or catch a ferry to the Helford , St Mawes or to Truro. From the house walk the coastal path as far as you can . Walk up to our own Castle at the end of the road ,Pendennis Castle built by Henry 8Th & now run by English Heritage ....Short car rides for some of the best Gardens in Cornwall , Trebah , Glendurgen .The Helford river to explore and to many stunning beaches to mention .

What a fab property!

The property is in a great location and the views were amazing. Very comfortably and tastefully furnished with plenty of room to chill out, the sun room was a treat to sit in with a morning coffee. We had mixed weather - including two stormy nights - and the house was cosy and warm. Loved walking along the sea front, such a treat!

We would definitely recommend staying here.

Fabulous Place, Fabulous Time

We have just returned from a lovely 5 nights stay at Three Beaches. The location is perfect for town and the beaches, which were right on our doorstep. There were 4 adults and a small pooch. There were lots of little extras which made the cottage a home from home. Books, DVDs and board games to keep you occupied in bad weather, not that we needed them. There are also essentials for the dog (bowls, tinned food and poop bags) in case you have forgotten anything. The log burner is a lovely touch and made us feel toasty in the evening. We had lovely lemon drizzle cake waiting for us, together with milk for tea. The cottage has a sweet stepped garden to the rear which is enclosed, although the terrace at the front with the sea views, which are echoed from each window at the front, is the main outdoor feature. The steps down to the beach are opposite the house, with Castle Beach being a mix of sand and rocks, perfect for dogs and rock pooling, it adds about 15 minutes walk to get to Gilly Beach cafe, but that is only 15 minutes by the footpath so we worked up an appetite for breakfast each day. All in all an outstanding stay. A couple of things I would do differently when we go back though; as we have blackout curtains at home the curtains let in more light then we are used to, so I will bring a sleep mask. Also, I'm used to large bath sheet type towels and the ones supplied, although lovely and plush are smaller so will bring a couple from home. We can't wait to go back.

Very cosy and well appointed property. It was spacious with light airy rooms and a view to die for!

It was in easy reach of everything, town, docks and beaches, while the Tesco Direct was a boon. We didn't look for a street map as I had one, which was a great help initially finding our way about.

I know the area quite well but my friends didn't and really enjoyed their stay.

LANDLADY from hell

We rented the property to attended our daughters wedding there where three staying in the property other than the night before the wedding, after the first night we received an email advising us that we could not hold any gatherings or party's over 4 people , for found this odd has only three people and been in the the house at this point. On the morning of the wedding we had bridesmaids round to get ready but not stay, We did leave a window open upstairs the landlady let herself into the property walked around taking photos l feel this was totally out of order. The house is well positioned with great views the road out side is noise and busy.The patio furniture is child size and unexceptionable to be of any use there is nothing of any comfort to sit on so we sat on our beach chairs.The furniture in the sun lounge cheap and nasty very uncomfortable,the spare room beds small and again uncomfortable,the back yard was left dirty and untidy. We where given no change of bedding or towels in the 12 days we where there. We have been accused of damaging a dressing table the complaint arrived 6 days after we left and my wife who left the house spotless is convinced it was not there when we left. Finally she appeared on the doorstep at 10 am for an inspection on the day of our departure!!!
