About the Owner

I was born in Newport, South Wales and have been holidaying in Pembrokeshire for over 50 years. I came on holiday here as a child and continued with my husband and our own three children. We moved to live in St Davids 8 years ago and it was the best thing we have ever done! We now own and look after our four rental properties featured at St Davids Destinations.

We had a virtually perfect short break! The house is very comfortable and cosy and in a great location, you can walk everywhere. It was well equipped and stylishly decorated, we will definitely be back! Perfect for a couple, a small family or even someone on their own! (stayed : 2013-04-16)

A wonderful property in fantastic proximity to St David's. The cottage is beautifully presented and allowed us to take our dog.

Haddocks Rest is provides a lovely homely base for exploring Pembrokeshire. It is decorated and furnished really tastefully and is very comfortable. Added to which, it is really well equipped and has a great secluded suntrap of a garden, perfect for evening BBQ. The cottage is perfectly positioned for coastal path, catching buses and for walking to pubs/restaurants& shops. Will be going again! (stayed : 2013-09-14)

Haddocks Rest

  • 5 of 5

This was a wonderful location in the heart of beautiful St Davids. We visit St Davids each year at this time to attend the St Davids Cathedral Festival and to visit the outstanding coastline and countryside of Pembroke. This year ranks as the most enjoyable of all the weeks we've stayed in West Wales, made all the more comfortable by staying in the heart of St Davids, Non Street and Haddocks Rest. The accommodation was perfect for our needs as a base from which to explore the city. We were able to visit the cathedral on foot and following a few drinks at the Bishops, were able to walk home! St Justinians and the coast are also just over 2 miles away and we walked the coastline extensively during our week.

I would not only recommend St Davids as a city to spend a relaxing week, but also Haddocks Rest as the perfect accompaniment.

We shall certainly try and book this property again next year!

Haddock's Rest

  • 5 of 5

This was a lovely cottage, right in the middle of St.Davids, just what we were looking for. Well equipped and comfortable, with a small garden for eating al fresco in good weather. Coastal path walking from the cottage was glorious, and there are lots of lovely galleries to explore in St.Davids if the weather's not too good. The beautiful cathedral, and Bishop's Palace are not to be missed.
