The house is on a tiny lane midway between Pwllgwaelod and Cwm Yr Egylws beaches and perfectly located for walking to either beach or onto the coastal path, or walking up into the Preseli Hills. From the back of the house there are fantastic views across Cardigan Bay to the mountains of North Wales (on a clear day!) The front of the house looks through trees to Fishguard Bay and Dinas Head. Within 10 minutes walk there are also 2 pubs and the beautifully located Old Sailors restaurant on the beach at Pwllgwaleod. There is a large double room, smaller single room and a converted attic making a cosy twin room with spectacular views. Open fire in lounge. Cot, highchair and stair gate are available. At the front of the house there is a suntrap courtyard and at the back an enclosed yard and gate to footpath down to the beach. Parking is 50 yards away up the lane.
Johnny and Emily own this house and it is a much loved getaway from busy jobs in a boarding school. We have had countless family holidays here. We live in Sussex with our 2 children.
We bought this house in 2004. At that point we lived in London and this corner of Pembrokeshire was a lot nearer than the far end of Cornwall. In many ways the coastline is very similar to Cornwall but it feels much quieter and more remote. Even in the middle of the summer it is easy to find quiet beaches. It is a spectacularly beautiful spot and the house is tucked away down a peaceful lane and we find it such a relaxing and refreshing place to spend time in, even in the winter months.
We love being able to walk from the door down to the beach or onto the coast path or into the hills without loading everyone into the car and trying to find car park money. When it is wild and wet or in the winter we loving coming in and collapsing in front of the open fire.

A lovely house in a peaceful village, we throughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return. Only a short walk to the beach or up into the hills. I would recommend staying here to any of my friends. The property has all the facilities we required and is a good base to explore the surrounding area.

A 30% deposit is required upfront to secure the booking. The balance plus a refundable security deposit of £200 is required 8 weeks before arrival. The refundable deposit will be refunded shortly after you depart as soon as the property has been checked and cleaned. A shorter stay will require a minimum of 60% of the weekly fee rising to 75% for a 5 night stay. Please speak to the owner to arrange further details; we are happy to be as flexible as possible.
During summer school holidays the house is let on a Friday to Friday basis, at all other times we will try to be flexible. We ask that guests arrive after 3pm on the first day and leave by 10am on the final day.
Notes on prices:
We will happily arrange smaller prices for a short stay where the stay is not a 7 day let. For a 2 week stay or longer we offer a small discount of 10% on each additional week. Please phone or email the owner to arrange exactly what would suit you. We will be as accommodating and helpful as possible.
