Barn Conversion In Open Countryside - Wanstead Sleeps 4 (2 Bedrooms)

Overview

Property

Updated: 28-Nov-2016
Barns in Pensthorpe, Nr. Fakenham, N Norfolk, England - Peaceful Rural Location

The barn is situated opposite the wonderful wildlife reserve of Pensthorpe, in open country - the views from the barn are so expansive that you can barely see another house. The underfloor and gas central heating ensure that it is always cosy but, in the summer, the open plan living area with 3 sets of French windows mean you can enjoy al fresco living. The contemporary furnishings are comfortable and stylish. There is plenty of dining furniture etc so that you can have your friends around easily. The local area has many excellent pubs and restaurants and on the coast at Holkham and Wells you will find beautiful sandy beaches. The barn is the perfect place from which to explore the area and enjoy a home away from home. You can book the properties either singly, or as a pair for larger parties.

Details for holiday barn Wanstead Sleeps 4 (2 Bedrooms), 2 Bedrooms, Sleeps 4, 2 Bathrooms, 1 Separate WC

About the Owner

When we bought the farm in 2011 we realised that the barn would make the most beautiful holiday homes. We designed them to be as comfortable as home with plenty of room for everyone. We live and work in Norfolk and London so Jodie, who lives on the farm permanently with her family, is the person who makes it all run smoothly. She is on hand to make sure your stay is a special one.

We were so pleased with this beautiful barn. As a family we felt it was home from home and settled into the environment quickly to start our break. We enjoyed beautiful walks and important family time together! Amazing! Thank you.

Wanstead Barn

  • 5 of 5

Wanstead Barn was a very comfortable stay and spacious too. It had everthing and more to make our stay comfy. The welcome pack of milk, biscuits and bottle of wine was much appreciated :).

The Barn is in a lovely position so near to all the places to visit.

Morton Day trip to see the Seals was great, followed by lunch in Wells by the Sea. Sandringham was lovely and Holkham Beach one of the best beaches we have ever been too. A morning in Norwich was not long enough and Swimming at 'Splash' in Sherringham was great fun also. We finished with a lovely meal at the 'Thai Restaurant' a few minutes down the road, left turn when leaving the Barn, very good food and customer service.

We would definetly to return :). Lovely break!

Superb barns

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in both barns as we were 2 families of 3 generations.

The barns allowed for individual privacy but each barn could then easily accommodate 8 for meals. The barns are excellently furnished and the owner has provided everything you could possibly need. Their location is truly peaceful, away form road noice and neighboursand nearby is loads of things to do for all ages. I would highly recommend everyone to take a break at these barns.

Wanstead Barn

  • 5 of 5

Wanstead Barn was the perfect holiday home in the perfect location for us - a lovely conversion with plenty of space and everything we could possibly need. Beautiful views - in a quiet location, yet so near to so many places of interest, including being right opposite Pensthorpe, where we spent a wonderful day.

One of the highlights was watching a hare on several occasions.

Would definitely recommend to others and would love to return for another holiday in the future

The barn is an oasis of calm in a busy world. The farmland around is wonderful for walking and cycling without bumping into another person. Yet the modern conveniences of a supermarket etc are only a couple of miles away.
