Pebble House is probably the only house in central Whitstable offering that sort of accommodation: 3 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms - large kitchen/dining area - sizeable garden. And all of that literally a stone's throw from the beach, harbour and main street, in the very heart of the Conservation Area.

The house sleeps 8 people, but will accommodate another 2 for big parties. It can accommodate 2 families comfortably.

Newly renovated, it boasts a very high standard of equipment throughout: WIFI, log burner, cooker range, billiard, Nespresso machine, bread maker, flat screen, barbe q etc etc. It is furnished with an eye for detail and offers a casual luxury feel.

Everything has been thought and made available so that guests enjoy their stay: cooking material, DVDs, books, soft toys, high chair, generous cutlery.....

No expense was spared during this long renovation project. We are proud to offer what we genuinely think is a fantastic value for money deal.

Pebble House has been designed to accomodate large groups. This is probably the only house in the Conservation area with 3 beds/3 bathrooms.

The large back extension + garden offer a great space to entertain, in all seasons.

Like a Tardis and perfectly located

Lovely restored and extended terrace property only a few minutes walk to the seafront and High Street. It has been decorated and furnished to suit the period of the property and has some lovely original features.

Everything you need in a well equipped house with the exception of the dire lack of clothes hanging space - there are no wardrobes at all, only a few hooks and very few coat hangers - so take some with you.

Another point to make is that the stairs from the ground to the first floor are very steep and narrow and so some elderly or less abled people may struggle.

This is a terraced property is in an area of narrow streets so parking is few and far between, especially when arriving on a Saturday. The house itself is at the end of a dead end street with yellow lines outside but on the plus side, as nothing parks there, you can pull up outside and unload and reload. We moved our car to the station car park which, @ £3.10 a day, worked out the cheapest way to park in Whitstable with public car parks charging £1.50 AN HOUR in peak season. There was plenty of spaces and it's only a 5 minute walk to the house.

Lovely family home in a fabulous position

The property was very well modernised, loads of space for us (5 adults) to be together. Perfect garden for barbecues. All fittings and fixtures very good quality, lovely bathrooms and comfy beds. The property was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our week in Whitstable. It is very conveniently situated for the high street, the front and lots of pubs and restaurants. Also walking distance from station which was great for travelling from London. We had a lovely celebration meal at the Whitstable Oyster Company. We all enjoyed the walk to Herne Bay, especially the dog!

Lovely stay at Pebble House

My family and I had a lovely stay at Pebble House celebrating my husband's forthcoming 40th birthday. Location couldn't be better, close to High St. and seafront/harbour. Only downside were the loud seagulls waking us up at the crack of dawn but I guess that's all part of the Whistable experience! Would definitely book this house again in the future and very soon if my two children get their own way!!

Great house loads of character great location

What a great weekend . The location in whitstable is perfect . Two minute walk to the high street and sea front. The house is very well decorated to a high standard and really well equipped . It slept our two families very comfortably, on suites in both double rooms really handy.

Will defiantly be returning to this property for another holiday.

Great for a groups

We had a great time and the house was just right for the group. The house was clean and the kitchen and garden very spacious. The location is great- a few minutes walk from both the station and the seafront.

I would definitely recommend to others and would happily come and stay again.

Location

Special interest holidays:

Whitstable is a destination for windsurfers and kite surfers alike and there is also a lively sailing scene with sailing clubs in Whitstable and nearby Tankerton.

Fantastic walking is to be had along the coastline(The Saxon Shore) and there is woodland nearby you can walk to Canterbury(called the Crab and Winkle Way 7 miles) without barely having to cross a road.

Coast/Beach:

The house is 200 yards from the harbour, the beach and the harbour.

Travel:

Only 1h30min from London (road/train).

30 minutes from Eurotunnel terminal.

15 minutes from Canterbury.

Walking distance from train station.

Directions: Take the Whitstable exit from the A299. Follow signs for Whitstable. Drive down Borstal Hill, through traffic lights and under a railway bridge. Continue through the high street until you approach the harbour. Turn right in Woodlawn Street and right again in St Peter's Road and then straight on - Victoria street is the 3rd street.

Airport ~ London Gatwick - 66miles ; Airport - London Heathrow - 76 miles; Channel Tunnel - 29.8miles ; Train Station - Whitstable - 0.6miles; Ferry Port - Dover/Calais -31miles ; Ferry Port - Ramsgate/Oostende - 21miles; Motorway M2 - 9miles ; Motorway M20 - 28miles.

Further Details:

Whitstable is famous for its long association with locally caught seafood and in particular oysters, it has one of very few remaining working harbours with a small fleet of fishing boats, that catch fish daily for sale in the harbour fish market.

Many of the towns very good restaurants serve excellent fish dishes, but also cater for meat fans and vegetarians.

The countryside nearby is great for walking and cycling with very little to interrupt you between Whitstable and Canterbury except woodland.
