Top Floor (6th) Centre Of Town With Bus Stop For All Ski Lifts On The Doorstep. The apartment has absolutely gobsmacking views and we hope that the interior reflects this amazing scene. This year we have made a few additions and we have ensured that the apartment is stocked with "essentials" such as dishwasher tabs, oil, salt and pepper, squeezy, foil, etc There is a nespresso machine for coffee lovers but you'll need to bring your own pods unfortunately.

Fantastic apartment with stunning views

I first stayed in this apartment a year ago, since which time I have been fortunate to have stayed a further twice. As the previous reviewers have made clear, it is absolutely outstanding.

I have been coming to Val for over 30 years,staying in a variety of accomodation during that time ie s/c,hotels,chalets,however this apartment is something special.

First of all,the views! An entire wall is a window,so to speak,with a stunning view of the entire village,Solaise slopes and Le Fornet to the left and the Charvet and Bellevarde to the right.At night, the view is mesmerising,with the lights of the village and occasional firework display.I would particularly recommend sitting in the living room at night with the lights out,looking down on the village - stunning.If you look out the bedroom window to the rear,you look towards La Daille.

The apartment has been very tastefully finished,has every appliance/amenity you would have in your own home,is spacious,unlike every other French s/c apartment I have stayed in, and was immacutely clean on each of my arrivals.The apartment is perfectly positioned within the resort,being within 4 minutes walk to the main shops and bars, and bustops for both directions being immediately outside tha apartment block.

Gregor,the owner,is a delight to deal with and when he states in his description of his apartment that he worked in Val for many years,during which time he searched for,and found,the perfect apartment,he is not exaggerating.

As an historical aside, Jean Claude Killy,the most successful ever French skier, lived in this same apartment block in his formative years.

Much more than expected and a view to die for.

Great location just outside of the heart of the town center.

All as promised by the owner and more will see you again next year or maybe a sneaky trip back over Easter.

Great apartment

Thanks Gregor for a great week in your lovely apartment.

Communication with yourself was good right from the start and Claire was waiting for us on arrival in Val, and responded very quickly to any questions we had.

The apartment is in a good location. Walking distance to the shops/restaurants and next to the bus stops for skiing in either direction.

Amazing views from all aspects, very comfortable and well equipped. We cooked in a couple of times and had everything we needed. We ate out at La Barillon in La Daille (a family favourite) and The Lodge (great meat fondue). Val pizza was also great for takeaway.

We would definitely recommend your apartment to our friends and family, and will book again next time we are in Val.

Fabulous!

Thank you for a superb week in Val. Your apartment really is lovely - super-spacious, comfortable, conveniently located, and that view is totally mesmerising!

Things couldn’t have gone more smoothly, and I think we did Val proud - not many runs left untouched on this side of the Vanoise National Park - and my husband and son absolutely loved the off-piste bits all around. It really is a fantastic area. As extensive as the ski area is, the lift/bus system linked really well, so wherever we were on the slopes it was never far from 'home'.

We ate out at Restaurant 1789 and at La Barague, both really close to the apartment, and would recommend these. Eating in was easy too as the kitchen had everything you need, and there was plenty of dining space.

Thanks again, and we’ll certainly have an eye on your apartment with a view to booking again in the future. (Family of four with older teenagers.)

Great Apartment and Great Location

This apartment was fantastic and if I am lucky enough to be back I will definitely stay again.

The apartments facilities are great, it is all very new and nice and spacious in comparison to many others I have seen.

We had 6 people staying and it worked fine.

The location was amazing, as was the view from the window in the lounge and the balcony!

The free bus that stops just outside was fantastic to get you to all the different ski lifts and if you don't want to walk the 5 mins into town you can easily jump on the bus.

Perfect

the view from the living room of Le Face and the village is truly awesome. the flat has everything that anyone would require/want for a week (or more!) of skiing and has clearly been refurbished recently and to a very high standard. i/we may well be back.....

Travel:

Nearest airports are Geneva, Lyon, Grenoble or Chambery. Chambery is the nearest but flights are infrequent. Geneva and Lyon are around 2 1/2 to 3hrs away.
