Welcome to SUPERIOR LUXURY HOLIDAYS presented by Chris and Janice Smith owners of:

APARTMENT 9 FERNLEA COURT, ST IVES, CORNWALL.

Brand new to the market in 2014, our beautiful one bedroom luxury Apartment is tailor made for either couples, two individual guests or one guest. It is 5 STAR GOLD RATED, has SECURE GATED CAR-PARKING just across the road from the Apartment, and is located in CENTRAL ST IVES.

PANORAMIC SEA VIEWS of the Town Beach, the Atlantic Ocean and the Harbour can be enjoyed through the double french doors in both the bedroom and sitting area.

Our Apartment is not overlooked, no-one can walk past it and has total privacy, allowing guests to sit up in bed with a cup of tea and admire the breathtaking views every morning.

Our Apartment is spacious, light and airy, contemporary and comfortable with stylish neutral interior design chosen, personally, by us. Everything in our Apartment is of very high quality for our guests' comfort and enjoyment, from the unique oil paintings, painted by two very skilled local Artists, to the White Company silk bed throw.

Our Apartment is the ideal base, not only for holidaying guests, but also honeymoon, birthday celebration, wedding anniversary and all other anniversary, guests, not forgetting Christmas and New Year guests. St Ives holds a very lively fancy dress New Year's Eve Street Party each year.

We offer a complimentary welcome pack, complimentary toiletries, and complimentary towelling mule slippers, together with, use only, of two towelling robes.

We are very proud that we have been chosen by PENHALIGON'S, an exclusive brand of Perfumers, to offer their complimentary size toiletries in our Apartments.

PENHALIGON'S was founded in 1860 by William Henry Penhaligon, originally a Cornish Barber, who moved his family from Penzance to London, and was appointed Court Barber and Perfumer to Queen Victoria.

PENHALIGON'S were awarded a ROYAL WARRANT from Queen Alexander in 1903, and today PENHALIGON'S still hold TWO very long standing ROYAL WARRANTS granted by HRH The Prince of Wales and HRH the Duke of Edinburgh.

ALL BEDDING AND TOWELS ARE PROVIDED.

Our Apartment is located within a few minutes walk of St Ives Train Station, the Bus Station and a Taxi Company.

In the sitting area is a 42" smart TV, free Broadband and wi-fi, a double docking station for an IPhone, IPod and IPad, and bespoke curtains with black-out lining.

In the bedroom is a 32" TV with DVD player, bespoke curtains with black-out lining and a full length dressing mirror.

A selection of games and DVD's are provided.

ST IVES is a paradise of four of the most stunningly beautiful white sandy beaches in the country which wrap around the Town, and boasts one of the mildest climates in England.

Porthmeor Beach is great for surfing, Porthgwidden Beach is sheltered, the Town Beach is just around the corner from our Apartment and Porthminster Beach has beach activities. All are ideal for swimming and all have cafes, shops and public loos.

There is an array of restaurants for dining out in St Ives.

St Ives is the perfect place to relax and unwind, whether it is sunbathing on the beach or enjoying walks. St Ives is steeped in history, and in days gone by was renowned for it's tin and copper mining and fishing, but wind forward to today and the mining no longer exists, but fishing still does. The North West Cornish Coast is featured on the very popular TV series POLDARK, where it is filmed.

St Ives has a magical atmosphere and has changed very little from those bygone days, which is why it is easily one of the UK's most popular holiday destinations. The original cobbled stress and quaint old buildings are still here, which are now mostly upmarket shops in the centre.

There are plenty of shops in St Ives stocked with local and general produce. A Tesco Supermarket is located in Cabis Bay a 5 minute car drive away, or guests could pre-order their groceries online.

There are many attractions to visit such as the Tate Gallery (currently closed, as the building is being extended, but due to re-open in 2017), the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden and St Michael's Mount in Marazion (a short car drive away) to name but three.

We hope that we have said enough to tempt you into booking with us.

If you should need any further information, please don't hesitate in contacting Chris and Janice Smith owners of Apartment 9 Fernlea Court, St Ives, Cornwall, and we will be more than happy to assist.

We offer SHORT BREAKS (3 nights minimum) in

LOW SEASON. Please contact Chris and Janice Smith for details and price.

If you prefer to be just outside of St Ives, we have a second Apartment located in Carbis Bay, just a few minutes car ride away or a 3 minute train ride away.

If this is of interest, please look for 7 Fernhill Apartments, Carbis Bay on the Owners Direct website.

Beautiful Apartment

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful, 5 Star equipped apartment with amazing views from both the lounge and bedroom. Had a totally relaxing experience here and, as a lone traveller, felt completely safe and secure. Great position close to the railway station and a real bonus of gated parking. Have been recommending to everyone. Not sure could stay anywhere else in St Ives now.

Great views, lovely apartment

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here for a week in October last year and was not disappointed. We've been staying in St. Ives for 20 years now (twice a year), so have experienced a large number of apartments and hotels. This is one of the better ones in terms of the view and condition of the apartment. It has all the mod cons, and is very comfortable. The bedroom (as well as the living room) faces out towards the harbour, which is a great view at any time of day.

The only negative was the noise that you might hear from the apartment next door, especially if there are rugrats running around at 5am! :)

Great apartment and look forward to going back.

Owner's Response: We were so sorry to hear about your noise problem, which we have only just discussed with you, as we we were not aware of it, until you booked with us again, recently. We will, very politely, but firmly, address this situation, and should this be a problem again, please call us immediately (our numbers are in our introductory book in the apartment) but, hopefully, just one phone call should deal with the problem. Our guests should not feel that they have to suffer in silence, about anything - they don't, we are just a phone call away. Thank you so much for your lovely review, and we are delighted to be welcoming you back again. With best wishes - Chris and Janice Smith - Owners of 9 Fernlea Court.
