This Five Star Gold rated lovely two bedroom apartment is the perfect place to relax all year round. It's light and airy yet wonderfully cosy. It has two double bedrooms, a wonderful living/dining/kitchen space, bathroom with cream floor to ceiling tiles with bath and luxury rain head shower above, and a perfectly equipped kitchen with all you need for a great holiday. In the warmer months you can open the bi-fold doors from the living area and relax with a glass of chilled wine on the balcony, and in the winter you can turn up the underfloor heating, turn on the 42 inch smart 3d TV in sitting room (or the TVs in either bedroom), make a cappuccino and just unwind. Its location is great as everywhere is walking distance, but there is parking so you can easily explore Cornwall further afield. Carbis Bay beach is approx 5 mins downhill walk. The main road is approx 5 mins uphill. Atmospheric St Ives by foot will take you about 20 mins or a few mins in a car/taxi/local train.

About the Owner

My husband and I fell in love with Cornwall many years ago. We live and work in London and every time we cross the Devon/Cornwall border and see the "Welcome to Cornwall" sign all the cares of city life just drift away!

We stayed at Sandy Lane as guests and loved it so much that when we saw that one of the apartments was for sale, we just couldn't resist!

We have a 3 year old son and we've all enjoyed some wonderful times here together and we hope that you do too.

"It is 30 years since we visited St Ives! We were tempted to stay central but we were so glad we decided to stay in Carbis Bay in this lovely well appointed apartment. Fabulous flat, great location

We stayed here in the last week of March and absolutely loved it. Beautifully furnished throughout with all the mod cons, we could have quite happily stayed in for most of our visit! But it would have been amiss of us to not take advantage of the great location. Two minutes walk to Carbis Bay station which takes a couple of minutes to St Ives or if you fancy a stroll, 20 minutes along the Cornwall coastal path. A visit to the Hepworth museum and Tate St Ives is a must as is lunch and/or dinner at the Porthminster Cafe. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to stay here again when I am next in Cornwall.

Situated at the southernmost tip of England, Cornwall is a magical holiday destination. White sandy beaches, craggy coves, unspoilt fishing villages and stunning coastal scenery sit wonderfully alongside vibrant galleries, restaurants and world famous visitor attractions. Cornwall is glorious in the warm summer sun, but atmospheric and magical out of season.

Nearby St Ives is full of great restaurants, beaches, cafes, shops and world famous galleries eg Tate St Ives and Barbara Hepworth.

Travel:

By Air

The nearest Airport is in Newquay - approx 50mins drive from Carbis Bay.

By Train

The nearest train station is Carbis Bay which is a few mins downhill walk from the apartment. From London, you'd need to change at St Erth for a train to Carbis Bay, so for arrival you may prefer to take a taxi from St Erth approx 10 mins drive from the apartment.

By Road

Carbis Bay is easily reached by car. From Exeter, follow the A30 until you link to the A3074 towards St Ives.

Distances:

Sandy Lane is a great place to come and relax you can park up the car up and leave it there if you want to explore the surroundings on foot.

Carbis Bay beach is approx 5 mins walk downhill. In the summer there are a variery of watersports on offer.

5 mins car/train/taxi ride is St Ives with its atmospheric cobbled streets, restaurants, cafes, beaches and galleries. You can also get there on foot along coastal path in approx 20 mins.

25% non refundable deposit. The rest of the funds are payable 8 weeks before arrival. We suggest clients to take out their own holiday insurance in case of cancellation. If there is cancellation by the client within the eight weeks prior to arrival the whole amount will be payable. Cancellation by owner if for any reason beyond our control e.g. fire damage the property is not ready on the date booked all rent will be refunded in full. The client shall have no further claim against the owners.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Friday with arrivals from 3pm onwards, and departures at 10am. However, there may be some flexibility on arrival times (dependant on apartment being vacant and cleaned etc.), so do call ahead to discuss this if needed.

Because we live so far away, Kelly (who with her husband actually built and decorated the apartments) manages 6 Sandy Lane for us and for guests. She knows the apartments really well and because she lives just a few minutes away is always on hand if guests need anything during their stay.
