This well maintained modern apartment is in a quiet location and comes fully equipped. It has air conditioning, 1 spacious bedroom overlooking the bay, an open plan living room, dining area and kitchen, a bathroom with bath and shower. The living room and balcony has a panoramic view of the spectacular mountain ranges, Becici Beach and the world famous Sveti Stefan. Located just 5 minutes walk to the beach, restaurants, bars and Montenegro's famous 5* hotels. You can take a coastal stroll to Budva's old town (20 mins) and Kotor and Tivat are only 20 mins drive away. Shops including a large supermarket, chemist and restaurants to suit everyone's tastes and budgets are again within a 5 minute walk. Activities include: Para sailing, speed boat and jet boat hire, white water rafting or Spa treatments at the local hotels or treat yourself to a massage in a beach tent.

About Jim

My wife and I live in Ireland. We both work in the Public Sector as a nurse and a Social Worker.

Travel was our first love and we did a lot of it before the children arrived (now grown up and at college).

Our favourite quote about Montenegro comes from Lord Byron. He wrote:

“At the birth of our planet, the most beautiful encounter between the land and the sea must have happened at the coast of Montenegro.”

Jim purchased this apartment in 2010

Why Jim chose Montenegro

We first visited Montenegro in 2003 and fell in love with the country. Unlike some parts of Europe the area had kept its authenticity. The surrounding areas of Skada Lake and the mountains to the north just added to our feelings. For the first time ever we returned to the same holiday destination the following year and again the year after.

What do we love about it? The sea averages 19 degrees centigrade during the summer, food - especially the fish restaurants, walking along Budva promenade to the Old Town in the evening, the beach at Becici. It is child and family friendly and above all the scenery is to die for.

What makes this apartment unique

The property is also our holiday property so we want you to enjoy it as much as we do. You will find it comfortable and more personal than most apartments.

The proximity to the beach and hotels is a big plus and it sits in a quiet location which is so important especially if you need to recharge your batteries for a week or fortnight.

No matter where you decide to stay, we hope you enjoy your visit to this part of the world as much as we do.

The Perfect Getaway

Hi, my partner and I stayed at this gorgs place last September and we have booked again for this year it was so lovely. The accommodation was situated very clean and had everything you needed. We were greeted at the airport by our driver who took us directly to the apartment to find a greeter waiting to show us around. She gave us her number in case we faced any issues which we didn't and left us to it with a portable wifi machine :-) the apartment looked like it was far away from the main strip however the staircase down the side of the apartment led us straight to the beach and all the bars and restaurants. The people were lovely and friendly and we found the perfect little restaurant just below the stairs on the main road - if you like meat this is the place to go to only remember to share as the portion sizes are immense ! We got the local bus to the old town and walked back which took about half hour and showed the difference between the old town of Budva to the new place we were staying in. There are so many restaurant and bars it was hard to pick the best and the value for money was unbelievable. £1.50 per pint and £4.00 for a small bottle of wine so self catering was not a problem. The owner Jim was in regular contact with my partner Simon and it never felt a hassle exchanging with him. Absolutely loved the place and really looking forward to the next trip this September - Thanks Jim - Carol and Simon

Location out of the main hubbub of Budva but within walking distance.

Perfect

Very nice, cosy apartment. Well air conditioned and furnished, wifi and plenty of room with a stunning view from the balcony. Very close to the beach and nice and peaceful at night. Short walk to the beautiful town of Budva that has lovely bars and restaurants and a great night life. Would definitely love to visit again!

Stunning coastline

A great apartment with excellent facilities including air con, wifi, spacious living room, spectacular views of the coast, the mountains and beautiful sunsets. Within easy reach of lovely coastal walks as well as Budva and it's beautiful old walled town. Very good regular bus service and very cheap.

Dalia the agent was also very helpful and gave us some useful local tips.

We were there at the height of the holiday season when there were a lot of tourists around and the temperature was very hot so if i was returning i would probably go at a quieter and cooler time (personal preference)

Beautiful scenery
