Wonderful cottage in a beautiful location!

  • 5 of 5

We spent a fantastic week here in early September. The cottage is beautiful and very well set up with everything you could possibly need! The location is incredibly picturesque and peaceful whilst within easy reach of local towns and villages. There are plenty of restaurants a short drive away (and the wonderful hosts Andy and Jenny even offered to give us a lift there and back!) however we often stayed in and ate outside the cottage overlooking the vineyard - the views were too good to miss! The hosts Andy and Jenny are very welcoming and supplied us with lots of local knowledge to help us plan our trip. We would definitely like to visit again!

Andy and Jenny made us feel so welcome and were very helpful, whilst respecting our privacy. The location is gorgeous, with fantastic views over the vineyards towards the Dordogne. The pool was fantastic and we had it to ourselves when we were there. We enjoyed candle lit dinners outside the Gite, watching the sunset. Although we did occasionally head out to dinner to nearby and beautiful St Emilion, the tranquility and comfort of the Gite meant we often preferred to stay home. The location is perfect for visiting medieval towns and their markets. The cities of Bergerac and Bordeaux are within an hours drive. If you want to feel completely relaxed and enjoy peaceful places, you will love this place.
