Interior Designed apartment in the heart of everything that Palma has to offer.

Brilliant apartment in the perfect spot in Palma centre with easy walking to the sea front and Cathedral. The apartment is spacious,warm and beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. Spotlessly clean and ample space for four adults. Easy access from airport by bus and very short walk from where the bus drops you making it a very cheap transfer. Palma is also a great city with lots to offer. The apartment is located one block down from the city's largest department store. There is a real log fireplace in the apartment and under floor heating throughout and reverse heat A/C so you will be nice and warm during your stay.

About Blair

Originally I hail from Sydney but after 19 years in London I am now living on another beautiful island (Mallorca of course) in the South West corner and have done so since 2010.

I use the apartment myself when needing a spot of culture "in the city" and I love every visit. Palma is the perfect city to explore on foot and I never tire of it.

The apartment was fully refurbished in 2013 with no expense spared.

I had sent over 10 Bohemia crystal chandeliers which must be seen for that extra "wow" factor.

Having worked in Interior design for a number of years I have designed the apartment with the same high standard of fittings that I would want to enjoy myself. I hope you like them also.

Why Blair chose Palma de Mallorca

I love this location. It is right in the City centre yet a short walk (10 mins) to Playa de Palma beach or a fantastic stroll or even perhaps a very easy cycle ride to Portixol with all it's cafes and restaurants to discover.

Located in a quiet residential street yet with every convenience you could wish for on your doorstep: Bakery, Butcher, Delicatessen selling great hot chicken amongst other delicacies, a Supermarket and even a Beer Garden directly on the corner. All this and still on the doorstep of the historic Old Centre of Palma.

I love it.

What makes this apartment unique

10 minute walk to the beach.

10 minute walk to Palma Cathedral.

10 minute walk to The Borne - one of "the" shopping streets of Palma.

10 minutes from the cultural and shopping centre of Palma!!!!!

10 minute walk to Plaza Espana / Railway Station to Soller and other parts of the island.

Eroski supermarket diagonally opposite.

Deli opposite which does fantastic cooked meals for next to nothing.

Butcher's opposite.

Bakery around the corner.

Beer garden right on the corner with cheap beer.

Cheapest coffee in Palma on opposite corner (€1.00 and great coffee).

The Airport bus stops at the top of the street which is a two minute walk to the apartment.

Blair was the perfect host; he met us at the Apt and showed us around, afterwards we all popped a couple of doors down to the lovely beer garden, which soon became our second home, especially after a day on the beach, or for cheap post dinner drinks.

I must admit, prior to booking I was slightly concerned about the apt being in a residential area but my reservations soon vanished after a couple of minutes. Although it’s just outside what I call “the city walls”, it is only 10 mins walk to the beach and the same to Plaza Cort and Plaza Espana, two of our favourite squares. The Avenidos’ were literally 100m from the apartment and directly opposite a well-stocked supermarket.

The two double bed apt is on the 3rd floor so not ideal for anyone with accessibility issues. It has been completely renovated with the gorgeous bathroom and kitchen taking equal number one spot! The kitchen was so well equipped; we didn’t even get time to use all the gadgets.

The lounge is fully air conditioned, playing host to a massive TV with Sky, wifi, Bose docking station, easy chairs, sofa and table.

Blair kindly invited us to join him for lunch in Soller, where he was meeting friends, which was a lovely touch and the food was 5 star too!

On the final day Blair met us and even drove us to the Airport.

I love Palma and this quirky apt added its own distinctive dimension to the beautiful city.

Playa de Palma beach is a 10 minute stroll down the road. A very easy walk.

Portixol is a 20 minute walk away and well worth a visit with all it's bars and restaurants.

The good climate allows you to practice sailing, fishing, walking, bicycle, tennis, marathons, water-parks, nature beaches along with a huge diversity of landscapes.


How to get there: It is only 9km to the airport and 2km to the port. There is ample public parking directly in front of the apartment and in an underground one nearby but a car is not needed. The bus from the airport stops at the top of the street and then it is a two minute walk to the apartment. You are also a 10 minute walk to the main bus and train station meaning you can get to anywhere on the island with ease.


The beach, the Cathedral, the galleries, tapas bars, and cafes are all on your doorstep.

Outside: There is a sun drenched terrace off the master bedroom and a further small terrace at the front of the apartment. Both perfect for a sun downer or two. Utility Room: The apartment has a Washing Machine located in the kitchen. Iron & Ironing Board Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Quality towels & bed linen are included. The apartment is professionally cleaned and the linen and towels are obviously replaced at each changeover and once a week if your booking is more than 7 days. Beach towels will be provided in the summer months.

Great place, great landlord!

Nice and cosy appartment, with a very well equipped kitchen and air conditioned living and master bedroom, at walking distance from both plaza major and the first beaches. Blair gave us tons of practical tips and made us feel very welcome! Great base for exploring both Palma as well as the Island of Mallorca.

A stunning apartment

Blair was amazing. So helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The flat was verging on the palatial; beautifully decorated with stunning chandeliers in almost every room. The kitchen was great with its matching ovens, big hob and and the really modern fan (I wish I had that at home). Every day for the whole week I found something in the flat I hadn't noticed before. The street is ordinary, unlike the flat, but it was quite convenient to everything. We walked everywhere either to the beach or into the town. It was all quite easy.

There can't be many as good as this!

100% from start to finish. Beautiful apartment finished to an extremely high standard. Superbly appointed kitchen with all mod-cons. Luxury bathroom straight out of 'Homes and Gardens' magazine. Perfect location. Lots of shops and restaurants virtually on the doorstep. Just a short walk to the really nice beach and an equally short walk to the very attractive town centre . Absolutely spotless apartment. The owner was very helpful and being Australian speaks perfect English. Only one downside. It's on the third floor with no lift and so would not suit anyone with a walking or breathing problem, but if you are able bodied it's well worth walking up three floors for. By the end of the week we were easily going up the stairs. Would we go there again? Definitely!!

Great Location - stunning interior

Had the pleasure of staying at Blair's apartment with my cousin in April.

The apartment really is 10 mins walk to the Cathedral /City Centre and 10 mins the other way to the beach.

We were met as arranged by Blair in the bar v close to the apartment and very much enjoyed our first drink with him whilst he gave us lots of useful information on Palma and the rest of the island.

We would say that Blair is quite a character whilst being very helpful and a great host. Blair then took us to the apartment which whilst not in the nicest street once he opened the door there was certainly a wow factor about the decor and fittings. The apartment (on 3rd floor -no lift) included many mod cons not least good internet and 2 comfortable beds see pictures. The apartment was very quite at night and air conditioning was available whilst not needed at the time. Linen / plenty of clean towels provided and the interior was very clean and well maintained. Lots of restaurants nearby in old town and good supermarket locally available for self catering.

We enjoyed a great bike ride along Palma's front with a fantastic cycle pathway all the way to L'Arenal - then a soak in the nice big bath !!

We did not hire a car and used bus/train to visit other part of the the island. This was not entirely successful due to the poor bus services and if you do intent visiting other resorts on the island a car is worth considering however if you are mainly around Palma save your money and car hire hassle.

Overall Blair was a great host and saw us off with our last Palma drink then put us in a taxi for the 15 min trip to the airport.

We would recommend and use again.

Charming and Relaxing

This apartment is in a perfect location to enjoy a stay in Palma. Beautifully decorated with careful attention to detail, there is everything here that you will need for a fabulous stay in a vibrant and charming city. Blair is an excellent host and provides all the information you will need to make the most of your stay - no need for a guide book! I stayed with a group of friends and we were all impressed with what was on offer both inside the flat and in Palma and the wider geographical area. A day trip to Soller was well worth the effort of walking just 15 minutes to the train station. A must for anyone visiting Palma. I'll certainly visit again.

Excellent city break flat

We have just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable week in this flat . It is a thoughtfully well equipped flat with everything you could possibly need for your stay. It is eclectically decorated making it so much more enjoyable to live an than the usual bland decor of hotels. Blair ( a charming and humorous host ), met us in the local beer garden and provided us with helpful advice on bars , restaurants, museums etc. He also sent helpful emails with information on updated menus and beach clubs and even helped us with luggage when leaving. The flat is within about 10 minutes of the old town ,so we walked every day. We would definitely use the flat again when returning to Palma and it was a pleasure to meet Blair.

Last minute bookings require full payment in advance of your arrival date.
A deposit of €300 on collection of the key for any sundries or breakages. Deposit will be refunded on completion of check out and return of the key/s seven (7) days after your departure Direct I tom your Bank Account or on your Credit Card. This is handled by HomeAway and not myself.
There is a cleaning charge of €60 required for all bookings.
Minimum 3 night stay or 7 nights minimum in the Peak Summer months.

Changeover Day:
Changeover Day is flexible. Earliest arrival time is 15.00hrs. Departure time 10.00 am. However, we do try to keep flexible if we can.
