Apartment in El Divino, Los Alcazares, Costa Calida / Murcia, Spain - Stunning Apartment, Balcony Overlooking The Large Pool & Gardens & Furnished To A Very High Standard

This immaculate apartment has a balcony overlooking the large pool and gardens and is furnished to a very high standard. It is situated only a 10 minute drive from Murcia San Javier airport, but is not under any flight path!

It is approx. 200 yards from a supermarket, shops and restaurants and a 10 minute stroll from the beach!It has one double and one twin bedroom, both with fitted wardrobes.. The living room has two comfortable sofas (one a sofa bed) seating 5/6 and a large wall unit/sideboard containing books (swap the one you’ve just finished!), board games, playing cards, etc and a dining area with a table extending to accommodate six,. There’s a radio/CD/cassette player and a DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped and immaculate, as are both the bathrooms.

The gently sloping, child-friendly ‘Blue Flag’, sandy beach is a 10 minute stroll away and it takes about 20 minutes to walk into the centre of the old town, where you’ll find a good choice of bars and restaurants offering mainly Spanish food.

Two hundred yards from the apartment there is a Tesco-like supermarket selling a mixture of English and Spanish food. Just beyond the supermarket there is a pedestrianized avenue offering a variety of bars and restaurants (offering a wide choice of cuisine - English, Spanish, Chinese, Indian, etc.) and souvenir/necessities shops.

Los Alcazares: Los Alcazares was named after the palaces that stood in medieval times (derived from the Moorish ‘Al-Kazars) and is still unspoiled, retaining much of its original Spanish charm. Many of the narrow streets lead directly to the seven kilometre, sandy, ‘Blue Flag’ beach and there are plenty of restaurants and beach bars, providing a wide range of cuisine. It offers a non package-tour environment and is a favourite destination for holiday-makers from Madrid. Los Alcazares, with its wonderful all year round climate, has something for everyone. From March to November the temperature is usually above 20o C, rising to 30+oC in late July, August and early September and rarely falls below 18o during the day in the winter months.

Getting There: Murcia: Under ten minutes drive from Murcia/San Javier International Airport, which has frequent flights to and from London Stansted and many other UK and European cities. Flights from East Midlands (bmibaby), Birmingham (easyjet), Manchester (bmibaby), Gatwick (Barwell Leisure), Stansted (ryanair) and Southampton (flybe). Alicante airport offers even more flights from most UK International Airports and is less than one hour's drive away. Flights can be arranged through our recommended ABTA Travel Agent. Car Hire: Car hire is not essential as the Town and Beach are within easy walking distance, but cars can be rented on arrival at either Murcia or Alicante airport or reserved by 'phone prior to arrival. We can provide telephone numbers, etc. on request. If you are flying to Murcia and do not wish to hire a car our Agent can reserve a taxi.

There is room in the double bedroom to place a travel cot. There is a hairdryer in each bedroom and we provide a good number of clothes hangers in the wardrobes. There is also a full-sized sofa-bed in the living room (equivalent to a 4'6' bed).

Both bathrooms have large bathroom cabinets with illuminated mirrors and shaver/hairdryer sockets (we do not provide adaptors). Both rooms also have integral extractor fans.

The balcony, which has a good view of the pool, has a table and chairs to seat six. Ideal for al-fresco dining! There are also facilities for drying towels, swimming costumes and washing.

We have just come back from a fantastic 3 weeks at this apartment. We have visited this area many times, although we have never stayed on this complex, and we weren't disappointed. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. The 2 on site pools were well looked after with lifeguards throughout the day although on occasion did get a little crowded but we were there in the summer holidays so it was to be expected.

Ideally situated to the Mercadona Arcade with its variety of bars, restaurants and shops. This is a perfect place to visit and was well looked after by Mick and Jill who were on hand if we ever needed anything.
