It has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a fully fitted kitchen, two balconies on either sides of the apartment, air con and satellite TV. There are parking outside the building, but also in an underground garage. Conveniently located close to the town center and the beach, supermarkets, bars and restaurants, Various golf courses, water parks, Zoo Marine, shopping center with driving/taxi distance.

Hi, I'm Cecilia, I help look after this fantastic apartment for the owner Ranjit and his wife who live in the UK. They fell in love with Portugal and Armaçâo de Pera many years ago, and eventually decided to buy a holiday home here. They have enjoyed it for many years, but have now, due to various commitments, decided to open their home to travellers and holiday makers alike! We all hope you will love Armaçâo de Pera's Portuguese charm as much as we do!) Welcome!

Despite some high rise buildings, Armaçâo de Pera has managed to keep its Algarvian character, and is a gem in disguise! Popular among Portuguese and foreigners alike, it boosts excellent, inexpensive restaurants (fresh, grilled fish, anyone?), traditional bars and a long, golden beach stretching all the way to Galé, Albufeira, (a long but lovely walk!)... What more could do you possible need from a holiday? :)

What makes this apartment unique

It is a modern & spacious apartment, perfectly situated just on the quiet outskirts of Armação de Pera, yet only being a 10 min walk away from the centre of town and the beach! It has a splendid pool area, which can be seen from one of the apartments balconies. The nearest Supermarket is a 5 min walk from the property, meaning no car is really needed! Should you rent a car, there is a private garage belonging to the complex, as well as street parking just outside the entrance to the building.

Nice location. With good facilities in the apartment

Apartment is about 10 minutes walk from beach. The swimming pool is a bit small. The balcony is very windy even when it is not windy downstairs kept thinking that the sun shade was going to blow away. Apartments has two bathrooms which is handy if you have woman that take ages to get ready to go out. Overall a good apartment. Not giving it 5 stars as the swimming pool lets it down as it gets no sun after about 4 o clock and is very small and also the balcony lets it down.

Excellent apartment, short walk from beach & relaxed seafront.

Well placed apartment block and excellent top floor location. Lovely, clean, well appointed apartment. Really pleased with the property and would rent again. Really enjoyed Armacao de Pera. Excellent beach and relaxed atmosphere in town, suiting those looking for a slightly quieter holiday. Good restaurants and supermarkets. Kitchen and cooking facilities good, but some newer pans would be good. Good pools/pool area available to use (although we used beach instead). Saw lots of people using a pool. Overall, an excellent property and would happily recommend.

A lovely holiday home ....

The property was idea for a family holiday. It was easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The two balconies located at different sides of the building were good as you could sit in the sun or shade at anytime. It was child safe. It was easy to contact somebody on the occasion we needed too and everything was dealt quickly.

Coast/Beach:

The beach at Armacao de Pera is one of the top ten beaches in the Algarve with lovely golden sands stretching all the way to the beach at Gale towards east. It is 5 minutes walk into town centre/beach front and there are plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars to choose from. Water activities are one of the main draws to Armacao de Pera. The beaches in Armacao de Pera were recently classified as "Accessible Beaches" meaning that beach-goers have easy access to the beachfront. Restaurants are able to offer table and bar service.

Travel:

The nearest airport Faro is 40mins away, which can be made by car hire, transfer (which we can arrange) or taxi.

Distances:

Armacao de Pera is the perfect base for sightseeing, shopping, and golfing. Algarve shopping centre 10 minutes drive away. The famous Zoo Marine with the amazing dolphin show only 5 minutes drive away and at least two water parks at Alcantarilha and Lagoa both within 10 minutes drive away.A central base to see all the Algarve, Portugal or even across the border to Spain.
