Farmhouse near St. Nicholas, Fishguard, Pembrokeshire. Peaceful Location. Splendid For Bird Watchers. Brilliant Night Skies. Dogs by arrangement welcome.

Pembrokeshire is wonderful walking country. The coastline is beautiful in spring with millions of wild flowers and in autumn there are baby seals on the rocks. The beaches are National Trust and exciting places for children to explore rock pools and build sandcastles. Older children enjoy kayaking, swimming, coasteering, surfing and we have 126 acres for them to explore.

Enjoy al fresco dining or for a special occasion visit the award winning Cwtch in St. Davids. Try delicious fish and chips at the Shed in Porthgain. It is memorable to have a take-away sitting on the harbour wall.

We all had a brilliant time. Our three children aged 20, 18 and 17 have all liked Garnllys in their very different ways. We have found the place quite magical. There is so much to do in this area; everything from an organ recital in St David's Cathedral to the Dr Who Experience (if you're prepared to drive to Cardiff) and the Dinosaur Park and the Manor House Zoo if you're not.

If you like cliff walks these are to hand locally; I've seen choughs for the first time. We'd like to come again. This is a very comfortable cottage.

Coast/Beach:

Nearest beach Aberbach and Abermawr - 2 miles by car but less walking the footpaths. Shingle at high tide but sand and rock pools at low tide. Surfing in Abermawr when the wind and tide is right. Visiting Ramsey Island for bird watching, walking the coast path, enjoying the night sky with no light pollution.

Travel:

A car is strongly recommended. It is possible to travel by train to Goodwick and hire a car in the village. Some of our visitors come by train with their bicycles!

Fishguard 5 miles, St. David's 10 miles, Haverfordwest 10 miles, London via M4 260 miles

Further Details:

There are many excellent restaurants and pubs in the neighbourhood. Cottage Caterers in St. Nicholas will take the self out of the catering for our visitors.

This is enclosed for young children and dogs. Older children can explore our 126 acres and of course it is very pleasant walking country. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The beds will be made up but we ask you to bring your own towels and table linen and tea towels. Other: Dining room furnished with antiques. spendid view, great place

The cottage is lovely. Remote but not too far from fishguard, it had everything you need and if you are looking for peace and quiet, look no further.

The view is also stunning surrounded by green countryside and the sea in far distance.

The inside of the cottage is simple but there is everything you need. We Would go back!
