We love the area for its tranquillity, country walks and that relaxing get away from it all feel knowing that in 15 minutes by car you can be in the centre of town at Flers, Ferte Mace or the picturesque town of Bagnoles de l'Orne.
If you have a busy life style and just want to relax you can do that here with many interesting places to visit in the surrounding area if you want to explore Normandy.

We immediately felt at home in this lovely holiday gite. For two people it was spacious and very comfortable. We catered for ourselves most days and found the kitchen to be well equipped. It was lovely to have the option to eat either inside or out. We slept well on the comfortable bed and enjoyed waking to the sound of birdsong and distant sheep. Despite being very hot during our stay there, a much appreciated breeze flowed through the plentiful windows and doors.
This holiday home is set in a lovely location and is surrounded by rolling hills, rows of corn, apple orchards, hay fields and quaint tumble-down barns. We did many walks (long and short) starting from the property, with pretty views and ample trees for shade. We also explored the area by car and discovered lovely historic towns, forrests and scenic routes.
The highlight of our stay though, was meeting Valerie and Jeff. They have a natural and friendly style of hospitality that made us feel so welcome. I would recommend them for lively, interesting and fun conversations!
This beautiful purpose built gite was surprisingly spacious and modern facilities like uk tv and wifi gave this accommodation an extra plus when seeking a comfortable clean home from home . The owners have clearly gone the extra mile to make you feel relaxed and delivered in all areas on accommodation. they were good company for a drink in the evening and very helpful on giving advice on the local area. We used this holiday for the country walks and pottering around the numerous small towns and villages without having to drive for miles between them. We would gladly recommend this property for a couple looking for a relaxing break
My other half and I stayed with Val and Geoff in August this year and couldn't have enjoyed our time there any more!
The accommodation itself is clean, tidy and well equipped and the starter pack of eggs, bread, butter, milk and wine was a lovely touch. The location itself set in northern French countryside was beautiful and made for a peaceful stay and also a good base for trips out. This being said whilst being a rural setting there are amenities within easy driving distance.
Val and Geoff themselves are accommodating and welcoming hosts with a relaxed and helpful approach. We found everything from admin before arriving to during the stay and departure easy and relaxed.
I would highly recommend this accommodation and area to anyone!

We (Saskia, Finley and Waffles...we are basset hounds) stayed here with our owners for a week. We met another dog who lives in the house and her owners. Our bosses got on really well with her owner, and had quite a few drinks with them. We were able to roam around our own ground of the bungalow. And The Bosses seemed very relaxed. We went out most days and found lots to do. The bungalow had everything we and our bosses needed.
