Outside the complex is immaculately maintained in its Andalucian style of white walls, terracotta roofs and courtyards, with water features, landscaped gardens, footpaths & walkways. The complex has two swimming pools (one heated during the winter months) and a children’s pool. Next to the complex is a large supermarket as well as a bar, beauty salon and general store. In the vicinity there are plenty of other bars and restaurants that includes Indian, Italian, Thai and Sushi. The Puerto Banus Marina, Beaches and vibrant night-life is 15 minutes walk away or by taxi. There are also numerous golf courses within easy reach. There is underground secure parking within the complex and a dedicated car parking space available. The apartment is situated on the ground floor close to the entrance/exit of the complex and next to the 24/7 security gatehouse.

Good appartment , nearby restaurants, and teenagers loved the satellite TV for football .

Spacious 2 bed appartment .

Good sized pools with plenty of space to swim.

Local shops and bars within walking distance.

We didn't have a car and had a relaxing holiday .

15-20 minute walk to the port - nice during the day but not so nice at night.

Will go back again .

We really loved our stay here. Would highly recommend.

I stayed in this apartment for 5 weeks this Summer with my husband and 2 children aged 7 and 9. It was the perfect place to holiday.The apartment was spotlessley clean and had everything we needed. An added bonus was it had 2 bathrooms and came with Wi-Fi and every tv channel you could want. The complex itself was really nice. 3 pools for the children to play in and really friendly staff . It felt very safe and our apartment was next door to the security office which gave us that extra security. The mercadona is next door along with a chemist, bar and ice cream shop. There are many lovely resteraunts right beside La Maestranza and it is only a 15 min walk to the port itself. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great apartment for a sunshine break

My wife and I stayed at this apartment and we couldn't have asked for more. The apartment was spotlessly clean, which is an absolute must for the wife. The apartment itself is spacious and light, with everything we needed, including beach towels. The complex itself was lovely and quiet, given it was half term, and we were able to spend time relaxing around the pool. Great communication from the owner ahead of the trip, which was very useful as it was our first visit to the area. Will definitely be going back.

Nueva Andalucia

The information of the place and how to get to apartment was good. However, travelling at night we still got lost and a 45 min journey from the airport to the apartment took us 3 hours. The place is nice in a quiet area and about 30mins walk to Puerto Banus. We were six in the group and with only two rooms. The beds were separated and a foldaway beds were put in each rooms, which were very uncomfortable. If I'd know this, I would not have booked this apartment. The patio chairs were broken and the security of the place was very lax. The kitchen door could not be closed securely.

On the positive, good swimming pool and the apartment was clean with free wi-fi. The information provided was helpful. I would say it is ideal for a group of four as there are also only 4 dining chairs too and this was a problem for us as there were six of us.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the feedback and the chairs were replaced the moment the offline feedback was received. The 24/7 manned complex security office is near to the apartment and new guests when met and greeted at the apartment have security arrangements given to them. Given the lateness of the arrival this wasn't possible The apartment is more ideally suited for 4; however, many bookings are for 5 or 6 and this is the first time any feedback of this nature has been received.

Great Apartment and location

We had a great stay in this apartment.

The apartment was spacious and clean and the pools within the complex are perfect for relaxing and set within lush gardens.

It is a great base to explore the Costa del Sol and an easy 15 minute walk into Puerto Banus.

I would recommend this apartment to a friend.

Location

Coast/Beach:

Puerto Banus Marina and its golden beaches are 15 minutes walk away/2km or <5€ by taxi

Travel:

Malaga Airport is 45 minutes drive away/61km. Car Hire is recommended and can be arranged at 15% discounts to advertised prices and likely that hiring a car will be more cost effective than a taxi. Alternatively taking a taxi journey will cost approx 90€ each way. Pre booked transfers will be less than this with further discounts for round trips. There is also a direct bus from the airport to Marbella with a shorter taxi transfer to La Maestranza.

There is also a Saturday Market that is held on the main road from Puerto Banus to Nueva Andalucía
