About Louise Cope

I have moved from South Africa to the lovely county of Dorset with it's beautiful coastline and wonderful walks. I enjoy kayaking, cycling, playing tennis and walking with my dog,I prefer a friendly village life to suburban lifestyle. However, with Wool station nearby and a 2hr30min train journey to Waterloo I can still keep in touch with city life when needed.

Beautiful cottage set in a picturesque village

  • 5 of 5

The property is beautifully presented and very well equipped. The owner makes you very welcome with fresh produce in the kitchen on arrival. The garden is lovely with lots of character and the off street parking was a real bonus. It was a real privilege to stay in such a warm welcoming cottage.

Beautiful and stylish cottage close to the coast and perfectly placed to explore Purbeck

  • 5 of 5

A wonderful cottage in the lovely village of Winfrith, ideally located to explore Purbeck and the western outreaches of Dorset with an easy drive. Garden (and its occasional guest animals) are a wonderful addition to any family holiday or those wanting to relax in the heart of the countryside. Local shop and pub are within easy walking distance, great for kids and parents alike.

The owner, Louise, is a great host and maintains the property beautifully.

Thanks Louise!

Lovely cottage with so much to do nearby

  • 5 of 5

Small but perfectly formed cottage that fitted two adults, two children (7 and 5) and a small dog very well. Lovely big garden and secure off street parking. Well stocked kitchen, plentiful hot water and lovely log burner ensured a really cosy stay. So much to do nearby - we visited corfe castle, lulworth cove, Dorchester and the tank museum during our short stay. Louise had left us biscuits, eggs and flowers which was a lovely touch. Highly recommended - we’d love to return!

Comfy, cosy cottage with everything you need for a great stay.

  • 5 of 5

Beautifully presented historic cottage in great location. The owner has thought of everything. Nice to have eggs, biscuits and flowers to welcome us. Easy access to coast and many local attractions. Recommend Max Gate and Hardy's Cottage (NT) - leave car at one and do lovely walk to the other and back. Walk from East Charldon to Durdle Door along coast and back via the ridge path above Holworth was fantastic. Recommend Sailors Return for food. Monkey World (rescue centre) was well worth a visit and quite an eye opener....

Great cosy cottage

  • 4 of 5

Louise's cottage was charming and great for a short stay over New Year and good for our dog as well. Large garden which backed onto a farm so we did have to keep an eye on her as lots of escape routes. The cottage was very warm and cosy and a large fire place with wood burner which we used every day. Very clean and tidy and lovely fresh eggs, honey and biscuits on our arrival. I guess the only downside would be no upstairs bathroom which I'm sure would be difficult to put in as its a very old cottage. Very steep stairs so after a glass of wine you need to be careful going up and down. Close to lovely beaches and pubs. Really enjoyed our visit.
