10 bed apartment in Sauze d'Oulx, Turin, Italy - 5 minutes' walk from pistes, 12 minutes from village centr

A large and very comfortable apartment in the beautiful Italian ski resort of Sauze d'Oulx. Sauze d'Oulx is part of a huge ski area known as the Milky Way and offers kilometres of skiing taking you into Sestriere, Sansicario and then on into France.

Sauze is only one hour from Turin Airport (with the vast majority of the journey being motorway and with only 5-10 minutes of switch-backs at the very end of the journey), giving it one of the best transfer times of any European ski resort and making it a genuinely viable long weekend option.

The apartment is pretty luxurious, with wood flooring, a very pretty sitting room with a huge window overlooking the mountains and the village below and three very nice bathrooms. One of the rooms (which has a double bed) has its own entrance directly off the hall-way and its own en-suite bathroom. There is a terrace running all the way round the property.

Why Andrew Welbourn (acting as managing agent) chose Sauze d'Oulx

We lived in Milan between 2002 and 2007 and purchased this property then.

Over the years we have spent many wonderful Christmases, Easters and long weekends skiing in Sauze d'Oulx and consider it to be an utterly fantastic yet strangely undiscovered resort. There are very few lift queues and the restaurants are much cheaper than in France. Should you go there I am sure you will love it as much as we do.

What makes this apartment unique

The property is big, with a large wood panelled sitting room looking over the mountains and down to the village. It has a nice kitchen and 4 good sized bedrooms (2 with double beds, 1 with one bunk bed and 1 with 2 bunk beds). It is 5 minutes' walk from the main piste and roughly 10-12 minutes' walk from the main village.
