About Philip Bergquist

Hello,

Forestedge is owned by Susan and Phil. After both working for 2 very well known companies for 30 years we have now transformed ourselves into a music teacher (Susan) and a property developer/manager (Phil).

One of Phil's hobbies is sailing and the location of Forestedge is just perfect.

Philip Bergquist purchased this bungalow in 2011

Why Philip Bergquist chose Christchurch

Hello,

We bought this property in 2011 as we love the area and it's fantastic location to explore the New Forest and the surrounding coastline.

We completely remodelled the kitchen and lounge/dining area to create a modern L shaped living space for the needs of the modern family. Both the family bathroom and en suite have been replaced along with all new furnishings throughout.

We hope you love it as much as we do.

Happy holidays

Susan & Phil

What makes this bungalow unique

The location of Forestedge is key to it's success.

It has a village location with a good choice of local shops for your everyday needs. 3 really good family pubs selling local and guest beers along with excellent food.

The property has no stairs, you can drive right up to the door. Everything in the bungalow has been replaced and renovated over the past couple of years.

If you are looking for beaches, a national park, theatres, restaurants or a historic town all within easy reach of Forestedge.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Beverley "Most enjoyable stay!"

We had a wonderful stay! Ideal location 3 excellent pubs (3 Tuns was our personal favourite) a parade of shops and a vets (which we had to use) all within walking distance.

We went to Highcliffe and walked to Mudeford Quay. My husband and grandchildren went Monkey World which they all enjoyed. We also went to Arne RSPB, which is not far from Corfe Castle.

The property itself was spotless having an en-suite was a bonus. The kitchen had everything you would need (although we never did any cooking just toast, cereal and made sandwiches for our picnics). The weather was glorious which was a bonus.

We hope to go back next year.

"We had a wonderful break in a home away from home"

Forestedge was just what we were looking for. It was perfect for my husband and I and my 1 year was comfortable and happy. we couldn't have asked for me. great facilities in the immediate area, pubs, shops etc and you are central to everything else. we drove to Southampton

Forestedge is a delightful, well equipped, comfortable, accessible essible bungalow. A very fine en suite accompanies a double bedroom. A family bathroom services the other 2 bedrooms. Rails have been thoughtfully provided in both bathrooms. There is a long drive, pleasant neighbours and a sunny rear garden. We enjoyed our stay in a convenient location for all parts of the New Forest and local towns.

Stayed for a week to walk in the New Forest. Bransgore is a lovely village with three great pubs!

The bungalow had all the necessary amenities and it was warm clean and tidy.

Will definitely go again!
