My two friends and I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Les Cerisiers. It was good to be able to communicate directly with the owners Jeff and Sue, who gave us all the information we needed for our visit. It's an old cottage with lots of character but has a modern kitchen and shower room. In the mornings we kept up to date with the news from England via Sky TV, the enclosed back garden was great for eating lunch outside or reading on the sun loungers in the afternoon but in the evenings we watched DVD's in front of a lovely log fire. A

Les Cerisiers is a truly first rate holiday home. Immaculately clean and oozing charm, we felt at home from the moment we let ourselves in. The cottage is extremely well equipped and comfortable there were no nasty surprises - if anything the details on the website don't do it justice.

Superb cottage in a peaceful & tranquil area.

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival. It was extremely well equipped & we wanted for nothing. The inside& outside were very well maintained. We can honestly say it is the best gite we have stayed in & we have been holidaying in France for 40 years. It was excellent value for money. We will be returning!

Facilities

From the Owner

One of the most memorable features of the cottage is simply the charm of the building. Everyone who has visited the cottage has commented on how well it is maintained and cleaned and how comfortable and homely the property is. We have several returning guests. The log fire and an abundance of beams make it very cosy, yet it has been lovingly renovated to encompass all the trappings and comforts of modern life. There are 2 substantial, safe, level gardens to front and rear, which children love. The location is very quiet and peaceful with the nearest food shops being 5 mins away by car. The nearest small town is Poix de Picardie which is approx. 15 mins drive.
