Cottage in Trevone, Padstow, Cornwall, England - Peaceful Location With Local Farm Shop, 5 Minutes Walk To Trevone Beach

Characterful Self Catering Holiday Accommodation Trevone Bay, Cornwall. Built in 1911 and converted in 2007, The chapel has a solid oak floored open plan kitchen/dinning room/lounge - with large stain glass windows and coastal sea views overlooking a tranquil and beautiful landscape. The living room is equipped with huge corner sofa, perfect for relaxing in front of the large TV, DVD player, or listening to sound bar and CD player while gazing at the stain glassed windows. We also have wifi. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher, hob and oven, microwave and fridge. A freezer and washing machine are available in the utility room and garage. There are two bedrooms, the first, a king size bed with beautiful sea views where the morning sunlight floods in. It is carpeted leading into a tiled shower room with large power shower, sink and toilet. This bedroom is equipped with a bedside TV. The second bedroom has twin/link beds, TV and DVD player and carpeted. The second bathroom is accessible from the main living area and has a large jacuzzi bath, toilet and sink. Dogs welcome.

About Bunty stokes

We holiday in Cornwall every year with our trusted Cocker Spaniel Abraham. During our last trip in 2013, we found and fell in love with The Chapel at Trevone and found ourselves the proud owners. Our ambition is one day to make The Chapel our home away from the rat race of London but in the meantime are offering out to let.

The Property was built in 1911 and served the community as a Village Methodist church until 2007 when it was turned into a residential property. Since then it has been a popular Holiday let. The village boasts a Deli farm shop, Surf shop and café by the beach, a beautiful beach and pub.

Close to surf beaches, fantastic links course golf courses and the town of Padstow and all the surrounding Beaches - we have trouble staying away!

Our favourite place in the world - Cornwall! with wonderful unspoilt beaches, turquoise sea, stunning countryside, coastal walks and fantastic gourmet delights - why would you want to go anywhere else.

Trevone Beach is white sand and unspoilt and because it is west facing the most amazing sunsets - also visible form the chapel

Since getting our dog, Abraham, we only holiday in the UK - Cornwall is our little peace of Heaven.

What makes this cottage unique

The property benefits from its location. It has a sea view and is very close to the beach. Just a few minutes’ walk down the hill and you are on the sand of Trevone Bay. The Chapel is unique as it has character unusual to properties in Padstow. The open plan nature of the single story space gives the rooms an airy feel with an abundance of natural light.

We really enjoyed our week in Trevone and staying in the Chapel.

A lovely open plan space with a super comfy sofa and functional kitchen and dining area.

The kids loved all the beaches nearby and wonderful location.

on arrival at The Chapel we were greeted with a welcome hamper and a feeling of home- warm and cosy. Utter tranquility. The location is ideal a short walk to the beach, next to a farm shop and short walk to the local pub and a short drive into Padstow. This is our second stay at the Chapel and it won't be our last.

Getaway at the Chapel

Long weekend break with friends at The Chapel, Trevone. Everything about the property was superb; arriving to find some fresh basic provisions to get us started was a very welcoming touch and the location was just what we wanted with the beach and coastal path just a few minutes walk away. Great for using as a base to explore much of Cornwall, we would certainly use The Chapel again and recommend it to others.

wonderful days at the chapel

We really enjoyed everything about our stay at 'the chapel', the cottage was perfekt, clean, well maintained and lovingly prepared, people around friendly and the surrounding great. We visited Tintagel castle and St. Ives, let ourselves be spoiled at Rick Stein's cafe and savoured the beautiful landscape. We would recommend a car so you'll have the possibility to reach every destination, but if you prefer to stay at one place and explore the region by walking you will have no problem to supply your wants.

Ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit toller Atmospähre. Die Ausstattung ist umfangreich und komplett. Die Einrichtung insgesamt sehr gemütlich und chic. Das gesamte Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt.
