Two bedroom apartment in Puerto del Carmen will sleep 4,large secluded terrace facing south .

Our attractive and spacious two bedroom apartment, cheerfully decorated in traditional style is located in a quiet touristic complex between the Biosfera shopping centre and Lidl hypermarket. Everything is very near you, restaurants, supermarkets, police station, post office, fuel station, doctor’s surgery, ironmonger, photocopy shop, taxi rank, bus stop. etc.

The fascinating island of Lanzarote, the jewel in the Crown, set in a moonscape landscape, has all the characteristics of land blown up from the sea bed in explosions of fire and boiling lava. Our private apartment (nº24) is in the well known and sought after quiet complex . It consists of a spacious living room, with open kitchen, bathroom, 2 double bedrooms with large fitted wardrobes ( with safe box ) and dressing tables. The complex is well maintained with gardens and pool bar. It has an outdoor pool for your enjoyment which you can see from our secluded terrace/balcony

You are about 9 minutes walk both from the sea or harbour whose maritime promenade is lined with palm trees and miles of golden sandy beaches, where you will enjoy a swim in the Atlantic. There are plenty of restaurants and cafeterias playing live music which makes it very pleasant to dine out. The Canary Islands are of volcanic origin. Lanzarote is perhaps where volcanic activity is more apparent. Timanfaya Park was formed in the 18th century from 30 eruptions that lasted seven consecutive years. You can visit the park in a special touring bus. There are many interesting places to see here. I would recommend that when you arrive to the airport (ARRECIFE), you go to the tourist office and pick up leaflets about the places you fancy visiting. From the airport you can get a taxi (14euros) or hire a car (25-30 euros a day) to our apartment in Puerto del Carmen. Address, map and directions will be supplied on a separate PDF.

The open plan kitchen/living room has a vitroceramic hob with four rings and has everything at hand. All appliances are electric. The cleaning tools (e.g. broom etc) are stored in the terrace. There are washing lines in the terrace/porch where you can hang your washing.

The south facing terrace/balcony (a sun trap) is partially shaded by a wooden pergola, which is provided with a table and chairs for you to have a meal "al fresco" as well as to sunbathe. The weather is pleasant all year round.

Free Satellite TV is provided to cater for all nationalities and Spanish TDT as well as a DVD with USB input for a music or film pencil drive stick. There is a collection of DVDs for you to watch.

The apartment is cleaned and towels and bed linen changed every week. All will be ready for you on the day of arrival. The minimum stay is seven days.

Check in: after 13:00hrs. Check out: before 10:00hrs, unless we have no other guest arriving the same day you leave.

For administrative reasons we would like to have the names of the persons coming as well as details of your flight (ETA etc) as soon as you can. Thank you

I am retired, used to be a TV service engineer then I went to telecommunications. I studied electronics, lived in London and Sussex for a good number of years and married a young English lady, (I was young too!!). Some time later we came to the Canaries on holiday , liked it , and decided to move to the Canary Islands. We have two children. (now adults) I have a passion for motorcycles and sailing; last year I motorcycled from Lanzarote to Shrewsbury where my daughter lives. I have also enjoyed skippering a ketch in this archipelago. In my younger days we used to do long walks with the YHA as well as rock climbing with the mountaneering association. We try to go to UK visiting friends as often as we can . Very nice apartment, in a nice area..

Apartment was spacious, and clean, with a nice large balcony (suntrap). It is located in a quiet area but is within walking distance (about 10 minutes) of shops, bars, restaraunts and beach. Nice pool with bar for snacks and drinks. Would highly recommend and would defiantly go again..

Everything it said it would be

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Franks apartment, easily accessible, clean, adequate space and everything we needed for a relaxing weeks holiday. I personally made the most of the private balcony, which hosted the sunshine for most of the day. Excellent, well maintained pool area, that was cleaned daily. Luz Y Mar is perfectly situated to enjoy both the new town and the old town of Puerto del Carmen and on the bus route to all other resorts. I would recommend a visit and I'll definitely be back....

Very adequate and comfortable

The apartment was nicely situated for privacy on entrance and balcony . Luz y Mar is nice and close to all areas and beaches . The hospitality of the Canarian people exceptional as usual . We go to Lanzarote at least twice a year and love the Puerto del Carmen region . Will be returning and will contact u again . We have the e/mail contact for Josune receptionist . Holiday

My wife and I had a great holiday, the accommodation was first class and kept in an immaculate condition.

The flat was within easy walking distance to all the amenities available in the resort.

My only concern was that it was a bit cold in the flat at night times so perhaps a little fan heater or something else would have been great other than we were delighted and now looking forward to another two weeks in August.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

We are very pleased that you booked once again for the summer and are sorry to deduce that you did not find the electric fan heater.As it is not often used it is stored in the second bedroom wardrobe, next to a couple of spare blankets. In hind sight I have now stored the heater in the main bedroom wardrobe, easier to see.

Good clean property

We really enjoyed our stay in Franks apartment, it was priced well and although nothing fancy it was clean and had everything needed including a washing machine and a safe at no extra cost, the apartment was roomy and had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool which although not heated we still managed a swim most days, we had a very enjoyable stay

Because we love Lanzarote. Puerto del Carmen is a tourist paradise with superb blue seas. Our swimming pool is also very enjoyable. The property is near the shops, restaurants, bus stop, health center, post office etc. as well as the old town.

Coast/Beach:

Travel:

There are many interesting places to see here. I would recommend that when you arrive to the airport (ARRECIFE 8 km), you go to the tourist office and pick up leaflets about the places you fancy visiting. A car is not necessary. You can get a ferry for a trip to Fuerteventura island (45min)
