Apartment in Lagos, close to the Marina, Western Algarve, Portugal - In A Prime Position Next To The Marina, Easy Access To The Supermarket, Beach & Restaurants

3115/AL - Encosta da Marina is a brand new apartment in the desirable location of the Marina only a few minutes from the main front of Lagos Marina, the Meia Praia beach and the town of Lagos. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and is fully air-conditioned throughout there is a lovely corner balcony with views over towards Lagos. The living area has UK television channels and a DVD player. There is a large communal pool and a children's pool surrounded by sunbathing terraces and a lovely large lawned area. Ideal for a relaxing holiday in the sun.

From the main entrance hall you walk down and to the left you have the fully equipped kitchen with, cooker, electric hob, washing machine and dishwasher along with all modern utensils, there is a Dolce Gusto coffee machine available also (bring your own capsules) There are double sliding doors from the kitchen through to the living area these can be left open for an open plan feel or closed if preferred. The living room has a 3 seater sofa and 2 seater sofa bed, an extendable dining table with 8 chairs and a flat screen TV with IPTV system providing UK channels and a DVD player, there is also an Xbox with a few games available.

The living room opens out to the large west facing corner terrace that gets great afternoon sun. There is a lovely outside dining set and a built in BBQ, the views from the balcony are over towards the marina and town of Lagos.

There are 3 bedrooms in the apartment, the master bedroom has a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, the second bedroom is a double and the third bedroom is a twin room the double and twin bedrooms share a shower room in the hall.

The pool area is lovely with a large pool surrounded by sun loungers, a lawned area for children to play and a children's pool. There are also toilet and shower facilities by the pool.

There is garage parking available and from the garage there is a lift or stair access to the third floor.

The apartment is situated only a few hundred meters from the Marina and the golden sands of the Meia Praia beach, the Marina which is a few minutes walk away offers a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants, a short walk over the footbridge and you are in the centre of the historic town of Lagos with its cobbled sidewalks and colourful market square, offering a larger variety of restaurants, bars, cafe, shopping and markets.

In the summer evenings there is also an abundance of street entertainment throughout the pedestrianised streets of Lagos. The golden sandy beach of Meia Praia is less than a 5 minute walk, with a variety of water sport activities available, that can be arranged from the Marina da Lagos.

Palmares Golf course, Boa Vista and Penina Golf Course are a 5 to 25 minute drive away. For the children there are a variety of water parks and theme parks within a 30 minute drive.

Nearest supermarket: Pingo Doce is 10 minutes walk away for all your culinary needs.

Nearest beach: Meia Praia is just a 10 minute walk away. The beach is patrolled by lifeguards and there many beach bars/restaurants with varying menus.

Nearest restaurants: A typical Portuguese restaurant, Bom Pecado, is a 5 minute walk -they do a great lunch special.

The Marina de Lagos is a few minutes walk away and there is a wide variety of restaurants available specializing in international cuisine. Families are welcome.

Special interest holidays:

There are many packages we can make for your holiday, surf school, golf packages, spa packages and with the new Autodromo we can organise go karting etc. There are also water sport activities and water-slide parks, the Zoomarine park for great days out. For those of you who want to explore a bit of the culture and history there is Sagres and Cape St Vincent, Monchique and Caldas do Monchique spa town, Silves Castle to name but a few.

Coast/Beach:

Meia Praia beach is the closest beach to the apartment about 300 meters away, there are also many other beautiful beaches in the Lagos area to visit, Dona Ana is a coved beach set within the cliffs, Porto do Mos is the other side of Lagos and offers a lovely expanse of golden sand with a bit more protection on a windy day.

Travel:

Faro airport is about 80km away, we can arrange car hire and airport transfers from the airport. You can also fly into Lisbon which is about 3 hours away by car and Seville (Spain) which is also about 3 hours away.

Its 300 meters about a 4 minute walk to the Marina de Lagos

From the apartment to the town is about a 10 15 minute walk

Its about 600 meters a 7-10 minute walk to the large Pingo Doce supermarket.

The Meia Praia beach is about a 10 minute walk to the Bar Linda / Bahia area of the beach.

Further Details:

The marina offers a children's play area and an abundance of cafes, restaurants and bars most of which offer free Wi-Fi access when a drink is purchased. A short walk from the Marina and your in the town centre.

  • Notes on accommodation: Cots, highchairs and fans can all be provided by the management. Outside: The apartment has a lovely large balcony off from the lounge, there is a dining table and chairs for 6 people outside and as the apartment has a lovely corner location the apartment gets a good amount of sun. The apartment balconies have been fitted with safety glass to prevent little ones climbing. The communal pool is gated for security and to stop anyone from using the facilities, there is a large pool and a children's pool. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Cleaning is provided after 3/4 days where the maids will change your towels and if you are staying for 2 weeks after 1 week your linen and towels will be changed again and in your second week a further towel change.
