Located in a quite and calm residential enclave, this well appointed and attractive villa, ideal for large family get-togethers or groups of friends, offers excellent levels of comfort and facilities combined with a stunning private swimming pool. With covered and open terraces, outdoor living can be enjoyed to the full and being conveniently located only 1km from the beautiful centre of Tavira, car hire is not essential. Guests will be sure to enjoy exploring all that Tavira has to offer from its fascinating historic centre, excellent selection of bars, cafes and restaurants serving delicious freshly caught seafood and fish dishes and fabulous beaches, or simply relaxing poolside or sunbathing on the roof terrace. Modern appliances include a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and large fridge freezer together with internet access and air conditioning.

Having relocated from Ireland, we've now been living in the area for many years, running a successful business in Tavira. We love the people and the region - it has so much to offer visitors and plenty of attractions to keep everyone happy.

Lovely holiday in Tavira.

Great location, well stocked property, lacking a couple of bits, but nothing you couldn't cope with. Definitely could do with a radio though.😊򒠊Little disappointed that the kids had no air-conditioning in their bedrooms for the whole 2 weeks, and it was very hot, especially trying to get to sleep at night. Also no change of bedding/towels after the 1st week, as stated in agreement.

We had a hire car for the 2 weeks as it would have been a long, hot walk into Tavira, which we didn't fancy.

Overall a fab holiday, we had a lovely time, the villa had plenty of space, but does need some tlc.

Location

We love the location being set within a quiet residential enclave yet within walking distance to the centre of the lovely coastal town of Tavira. There are many great beaches close by, excellent golf courses and this area is far removed from the more frenetic resorts along the coast - this is a more traditional part of the Algarve and remains steadfastly Portuguese.

Coast/Beach:

The nearest beach is Tavira (an accredited Blue Flag beach) which is located 4km from the house and reached via short ferry crossing from Tavira. This beach has been voted one of the best beaches in Portugal with excellent facilities including bars, restaurants, children's playground, life guards, sunbeds and parasols for hire.

Travel:

The closest airport is Faro (FAO). This is approx 30km from the house. The second closest airport is Seville (SVQ), which is approx 180km distance. Free airport transfers provided.

Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen included including pool towels.
