This villa was built in the XVIIth on a former settlement dating from the early middle ages.

Located near the entrance of Port Mahon, its architecture reflects the history of successive occupations, Moorish, English, French and finally Spanish.

It has been restored with style and offers modern comfort.

The house is surrounded by gardens and has a pool.

Perched on the border of a nature reserve, the villa benefits from a unspoiled view. The sea is accessible by a 15 minute walk or mountain bike ride across a natural Menorcan landscape. We have a private cabin on the coast; the access to the water is easy (flat rocks).

Modern civilization (Airport, Mahon city center and road accessible beaches) are within a 15 minute drive.

This 'finca' has been elegantly furnished with a combination of period pieces, beautiful paintings and traditional soft furnishing all in keeping with this historic property that, provides an exclusive opportunity to stay in a wonderful old Menorcan mansion, and truly step back in time.

The swimming pool terrace is found adjacent to the courtyard and can be gated and there is a large L shaped

swimming pool with roman steps and plenty of poolside furniture.

The garden is well established, private and has some lovely shaded areas; an original bread oven has been converted into a stone seating area.

Outside, the house is surrounded by courtyards, box hedge gardens and enjoys open countryside with unspoilt views.

Upscale amenities: all 6 bathrooms have been recently redesigned.

The large kitchen is in keeping with the style of the house and has all the modern facilities required for you to enjoy your stay.

There are 2 reliable WiFi networks, one inside the house and the other one for the patio and pool area.

Amazing place

I believe this is one of the most impressive house in Menorca. Not necessarily the most luxurious with impressive gadgets but surely the most authentic and charming.

Our party of 14 felt at home; the house has a nice pool and all the amenities required for a nice stay. The coast in front of the house is unspoiled and the landscape beautiful.

A very special place indeed... If you are not looking for air conditioning, wide TV screens and other gadgets but rather an authentic place in traditional Menorca able to host a large family, that's the place...

We highly recommend it!
