Great place to unwind

This lovely apartment with great views of the ocean was a great place to unwind for a few days. Within easy reach of the beach and only a 15 minute walk to the centre of Cannes, we enjoyed all the facilities that the apartment offered. This included a fantastic DVD collection and all the utensils you needed to prepare home-cooked meals. Near to supermarkets and public transport if you don't have a vehicle, I would recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking for a short break in Cannes.

Amazing

I have stayed here on numerous occasions and have enjoyed many a happy time from the buzzing Cannes film festival to a quiet and relaxing weekend. The apartment is very clean and and has everything u need. The views from the balcony are stunning and the beach is only a five minute walk away. Shops and restaurants are all within easy reach and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone.

When can I visit again?

I would endorse the many positives in all the previously posted reviews. I have deliberately stayed here in June to coincide with the annual Cannes Horse Show, but there have been afternoons when I have not wanted to drag myself away from the balcony. It is all too easy to lose a whole day out there, with a glass of wine, a good book (there is a selection in the apartment, no need to weigh down luggage by bringing too many of your own) and that sensational view.

The apartment is in a secure, gated development, for further peace of mind.

Breathtaking Views!

Wow! The panoramic balcony took my breath away when we arrived and I found it very hard to prize myself away from the fantastic views! There is so much to look at you could just sit there all day and not go anywhere if you didn't want to! The sea, mountains, watching the Cruise ships coming and going and then there is the Sailing which my Husband appreciated!

We stayed as a couple in September for 8 nights and it was not long enough!

It was so nice not having to rely on a car for a change! Everywhere is walkable, the beach, the very cheap and friendly local supermarket (a local man helped us pick cheese for our French baguettes), the shops and restaurants.

We had a lovely walk to the beach nearly every day which is a blue flag beach, lots of lovely beach cafes, restaurants and shops just behind, then in the evening we used to walk further down the promenade taking in the sea views and the glittering lights.

We also walked right round La Croisette which is great for people watching and checking out different parts of the beach and then another day walked to the old town Le Suquet which is quite medieval with a castle and lots of winding compact streets with restaurants and shops.

All this information is kept in a variety of folders and books inside the apartment which are extremely informative, especially if you have never been to Cannes and the local area before, the owners have really made sure that their guests make the best of their holiday!

We took a 5 minute walk down the road to catch the very clean train to Monaco one day and on another took the boat ride to St Tropez.

The apartment is very clean and modern, well equipped and has lots of DVD's to choose from if you want to come back from dinner and settle down for the evening with a bottle of wine and a film, this is after sitting on the balcony again of course!

We also slept really well while we were here as the bedroom is very comfortable and also the bathroom very bright and spacious.

A good tip for breakfast is to pick up the baguettes from the supermarket (even the night before as we noticed lots of people wondering round with them tucked under their arms at night!) and then to have these on the balcony in the morning with some cheese and coffee!

We will definitely want to return again as the owners made everything so easy, even airport transfers are provided for a very good price.

It was one of the easiest most relaxing, enjoyable holidays we have had in this lovely well situated apartment.

My wife and I took our teenage daughter and a friend for a one week break - the felt was amazing Liz and I had a lovely time and my daughter and her friend meet some dishy french boys on the beach as a result we had a great holiday whilst we walked down the sea front the girls were lazying on the beach which is only a short walk away truly relaxing week the girls loved it and want to go back

Breathtaking View

I stayed here with my family during the height of the summer holiday season. The photos do not do the view from the balcony justice. It is absolutely breathtaking. Gazing out over the colorful roof top gardens to the deep blue of the Cote D'Azure was the highlight. The beach is only a few hundred yards and was beautiful. Great for people watching, swimming and sunbathing. Restaurants and bars are 15 minutes walk along the ocean front. Coffee shop and bakery just over the road. The apartment was comfortable for 4 people. Kids (10 and 13) slept on the futon in the living room. Decor is trendy and high quality. Can't think of anything negative to say!

We bought the property in 2004 having spent many holidays in Cannes. Our main reasons for choosing it were that it was in France (we love the french way of life) and yet easily accessible to London. Cannes is always buzzing, so there is never an excuse to get bored; and then, there's the sea view.

Bonnard museum - le cannet: 15 minutes by bus

Picasso museum - antibes: 25 minutes by bus/train (plus 15mins walk)

Renoir's house - cagnes sur mer: 20 minutes by bus (plus 10 minutes taxi)

Matisse museum - nice: 30 minutes by train (plus 10 minutes taxi)

Chagal museum - nice: 30 minutes by train (plus 10 minutes taxi - close to matisse museum)

Chanel invented Chanel No5 in Grasse, the perfume 'capital of the world' c. 20kms away.

The glassware / glass-blowing factories of Biot, c.15kms away, are also of international repute.

Coast/Beach:

Beach: Midi Plage, 600m

Sailing, jet-ski, water-ski etc: Plage des Sports, 800m

Travel:

Central Cannes: 5 minutes by bus (c. 5-6 buses per hour) or 15 minutes walk along the beach

Café Pico: 100m

Leader Price supermarket: 1km (a 10 minute walk but served by bus)

Cannes train station: 8 minutes by bus

La bocca train station: 10 minutes walk

(both train stations access monaco, nice, antibes and ventimillia - italy).

An arrivals email including all the details needed to open up the apartment will be provided upon confirmation of booking. ‘starter pack’ includes bottle of Rose wine, crackers, milk, coffee, orange juice, biscuits, toilet rolls and soap (may vary). Full payment of fees plus a 200GBP refundable damages deposit are due upon booking confirmation. An additional 50GBP will be charged for arrivals/departures at weekends. Cancellations will be refunded at 100% for 2 months' notice before arrival date, 50% for 1-2 months' notice, 75% for less that 1 months' notice and 100% for 1 week's notice or less.
