Villa in Marina Rubicon, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, Canary Islands - Just A Minutes Walk Into The Marina And 5 Minutes To Playa Dorada Beach.

New to the holiday rental market, Casa Oscar is an extremely comfortable house with lots of outside space. It has been very tastefully furnished with no expense spared. Comfortable beds, a new leather sofa and large flat screen TV with English satellite channels. There is a built in BBQ and outside furnishings for "al fresco" dining. The pool is electrically heated and the sunbeds have comfy cushions on. This is a real home from home with absolutely everything you could want from a holiday rental. The area is incredibly quiet and yet just a minutes walk into the very centre of the marina.

About the Owner

My name is Amanda Taylor and I live in Lanzarote with my husband, Richard and our son Charlie. We moved here nearly seven years ago and decided to build a house in the middle of the Island. While our house was being built, we bought La Casita as a new build, in the marina Rubicon. We could see the potential of having a small house in this new development. We also enjoy sailing which is another reason for having a house near a marina.

Lovely villa in excellent locatio

This is a lovely villa, with everything you need, in a fantastic location right next to the Rubicon Marina (2 minute walk) with it's lovely restaurants, supermarkets, shops and coffee shops, and of course the weekly market. There is crazy golf for the children, fabulous walks along the promenade for miles left and right - over to the wild and beautiful beaches of Papagayo to the left, and to the clean and safe town beaches of Playa Blanca only 5-10mins to the right. The town of Playa Blanca itself is just 15 mins easy walk along the promenade, if you fancy extra shops and restaurants! The villa itself is safe, clean and tidy with everything you should need. We had a great time and would definitely return.

Perfect Place to stay in Playa Blanca

We loved staying at Casa Oscar. The villa is in a perfect location just behind the marina, and only a short walk to the beaches and the main town. The villa is well equiped with everything you could need for your holiday. Extremely comfortable and the heated pool was a perfect temperature throughout the weeks stay. Off road parking was great for us as we had a hire car for the week and the wifi meant we could stay online as well.

Good communication from the owner and simple to book, sort deposit and payment.

The villa does has an empty building in front so dont expect much of a view but laying in the garden by the pool was extremely relaxing so lack of a view was no issue for us. Villa is south facing so got the sun for the majority of the day.

We loved it here and will definitely be returning to this villa as our first choice when we next come to Lanzarote

Casa Oscar

The location was excellent,,just a few minutes from the marina and a pleasant walk along the promenade to Playa Blanca.The property was very clean and the house and pool were cleaned again over our ten day stay. The owners were very friendly and the facilities were excellent for self catering. We tried out most of the restaurants at the marina and were not disappointed. The trip to the national park is a must and also the beaches at papagayo are well worth seeing. We would certainly return to this property.

Lovely villa, great location everything you need on your doorstep and if you fancy a change just a few minutes stroll along the promenade to the main resort of Playa Blanca. Cannot fault it.

Perfect in every way :)

Very well situated and presented with loads of extras.

Would definitely make a return visit myself or recommend to others.

Plenty of room and very clean. Someone was always just a phone call away and more than happy to help.

Playa Blanca is a lovely place to visit with lots of places to eat out on any budget.

Nearest Airport : Arrecife at 35 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : Marina at 0.1 Kilometres Nearest Ferry : Playa Blanca to Fuertaventura at 2 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Playa Dorada at 0.5 Kilometres

Special interest holidays:

Walking holidays. There is a coastal promenade from one end of Playa Blanca to the other and there are also several volcanos to climb.

Coast/Beach:

Playa Blanca has several beaches. The closest one to the marina is Playa Dorada. This is a very sheltered and clean beach with a beach bar and some cafes near by. This is about a 5 minute walk from the marina. A 5 minute drive will take you to the unspoilt beaches of Papagayo. This is a nature reserve and there are no buildings here so its advisable to take a pic nic. You can also take a boat ride from the marina to Papagayo and to the old harbour of Playa Blanca.

Travel:

Arrecife airport is approximately 35 kilometres away and takes about 30 minutes in a taxi.

There is no need to hire a car as all amenities are very close to hand in the marina. Local taxis are cheap and a trip into the centre of the resort will cost about €3.

I am happy to recommend transfer companies for airport runs.

Distances:

Puerto del Carmen is approximately 25 minutes by car.

Costa Teguise is approximately 45 minutes by car.

Further Details:

The marina offers a superb range of restaurants, cocktail bars and cafes. There are 2 supermarkets, a car hire office, a shopping centre and a dive centre. There is a bicycle hire shop in the Aparthotel Rubimar.

The garden has been covered over with Astro turf, giving the impression of more space and is probably more child friendly. There is a large BBQ and an outside table with 4 chairs. The terrace has the sun well into the early evening. Perfect to sit and have a drink before venturing into the marina for dinner. Utility Room: The utility room is covered and has a table and chairs, Washing machine and wash hand basin. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included. Towels are changed midweek and linen is changed for stays of 9 nights or more with a cleaning service. Pool towels are also provided.
