Lovely Holiday

Just returned from 2 lovely weeks at this villa, we were 4 adults and 1 child. Everything you could want from a villa holiday, well equipped and comfortable. Shaded area and lots of space for sun bathing, the pool was lovely. In a residential area, I would say you need a car to get to the town and beach! It’s quite hilly. There is a nice bar about 10 minute walk away but coming back is all uphill so quite hard going in the sun! saying that we walked there most days! (But my mum aged 60 didn't!) Nice food and relaxed.

Moraira Town is lovely with plenty of bars and restaurants, lovely place to go with young children as many of the bars and restaurants are in pedestrianised areas.

We high recommend the villa and Moraira Town, we will hopefully return soon.

We stayed here with our cousins and we all loved the villa. It had plenty of room and the bedroom layout was great. We had the upstairs room with a private terrace and it was huge with wonderful views of the other villas on the hillside and across to the beach. There were lots of seating options around the pool and we just loved the dining table on the terrace. The terrace shade was a must and provided some well needed shade! We all enjoyed swimming in the pool which was well maintained and the pool looked pretty lit up at night. Having laundry facilities was really helpful as we didn't need to pack so much clothes. We did walk down into the town several times and then taxied back as it is quite a long walk. We didn't have a car although my cousin did and I would say a car is necessary. We found the local tourist information office brilliant for tram times etc. We ate out at a variety of places and also cooked at the villa. A few more cooking utensils might have been useful - we struggled to make breakfast pancakes with no frying pan! All in all it was a beautiful and relaxing villa and I would happily go back there again.

A big thank you for sharing this fabulous villa...we were blown away by the tasteful decoration and superb quality of the fixtures and fittings.

The accommodation lay out is perfect for families or friends sharing - with plenty of room and beds around the pool and the roof terrace with amazing views to the sea. The bedrooms are spacious and the master suite is magnificent, all very private.

The location of the Villa is excellent ...literally opposite the Swiss Hotel and within walking distance of the very friendly local Bar 21. If you are feeling energetic - you can also walk down to the L'Andrago meeting point on the coast for lovely bars and restaurants or to the Saxo beach bars.

We are regulars to Moraira - so we immediately settled into our holiday; I would recommend that a Visitors guide to the area may be useful for newbies to the area. The Olive Tree restaurant never fails to deliver and once again we had a superb couple of evenings there.

Once again we had a truly great relaxing holiday and will certainly be keeping in mind for future visits.

From the Owner

We both love the area, Moraira, in particular, as it is very picturesque, and has plenty of good places to eat and drink, but without too much of the crowds that other places can have. Although we have stayed at some leading hotels around the world the privacy of our own pool and a floodlit swim in the evening takes some beating! Also, the climate is fantastic - it is not only very nice and hot in June, July, August, but September is frequently even hotter. October is also very pleasant weather. Our villa is in a great location, near to the Swiss Hotel, but is in a small cul de sac, so is very peaceful, and quiet but close enough to get down town or to the beach pretty quickly whether by car or on foot. We are happy to give advice on local restaurants, bars, clubs etc, and can be contacted on the telephone numbers provided.

The Villa and pool have a lovely quiet setting in private gardens in a secluded cul de sac just a few tempting steps from the exclusive Swiss Hotel with its delicious breakfasts and jazz dinners. Set above Moraira in an airy semi-rural residential area just 15 minutes stroll to the blue flag beaches and town of Moraira. There are numerous beaches nearby, one to suit all tastes. Sailing, Marina, Yacht Club Moraira and Javea. Jet Skis Moraira, Go Karts, Mini Golf, Tennis, Para Sailing, Wind Surfing, Kayaks nearby


Car hire recommended. Approx an hour easy motorway drive from ALICANTE and VALENCIA airports.


Moraira is known as the jewel in the crown of the costa Blanca! If you do want to venture out the jalon valley is typically Spanish with reasonably priced restaurants and characterful villages. Javea, Calpe, and Denia are only 20 minutes drive away. Teulada 10 minutes drive to a typical Spanish market. Moraira has its own busy market on Fridays.

Further Details:

We are close to the Ca Pepe Restaurant with an ex Ivy trained Chef no less! This is very popular for Sunday lunch. The Swiss Hotel has a sophisticated and delicious menu in their restaurant, lovely breakfasts and open air jazz dinners. Bar 21 Sports Bar is 5 minutes walk away and is a lively, cheap and cheerful place,popular with locals who gather to watch all the big games! The popular Bar Saxo is on the way down into town and has a lovely chill out bar with live music in the afternoons and evenings. Andrago beach area is within walking distance and is a lovely alternative to town. It has restaurants beach bars and live music.

The Villa has a lovely private outside Pool area, with numerous separate seating areas offering plenty of Sun Loungers and shady seating options. The sea view Sun Terrace just off the upstairs feature bedroom gets the sun directly up to 9.00 at night in the peak season and is totally secluded - the perfect spot for a cocktail and even has an ice box! Inside, the beauty of Casa Blondini is the light airy luxury of high end fittings and furnishings together with original sculptures and characterful feature windows. Oh and those spectacular pebbled shower rooms with brilliant mirrors and lighting - you feel really special as you get ready for your evening whether out in town or a home barbecue in the romantically lit gardens by your startling blue floodlit pool. There is a fantastic outside Dining area overlooking the Pool (with Shade), plus 2 seperate breakfast terraces and an additional separate Dining area (with table and chairs) at pool level. The pool itself has an underwater light that comes on for a period of time in the evenings, lighting up the outside space with a subtle glow. The villa has new Washing machine, Dishwasher, Television, Aircon, and includes Wifii. Additional Linen changes can be arranged with prior notice, if required.
