Originally "The Old Smithy" Efail Fach is now a pretty, cosy, detached stone cottage offering sea views. Set in the Pembrokeshire National Park, an ideal location from which to explore flower-filled lanes, local beaches, the city of St Davids, and for walking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Peaceful area with many attractive pubs, art galleries and craft centres. Two bedrooms, large garden, parking.

About Marian Greenwood

We have loved holidaying in Pembrokeshire for the past 30 years and were delighted when the opportunity presented itself to buy this gorgeous cottage. We live in Inner London and both work in the public sector, so we enjoy the chance to get away to this remote spot.

Proximity to the Pembrokeshire Coastpath. The beautiful spring flowers, the seal pups on the beaches in the autumn, the farm smells, local produce, peaceful and tranquil setting.

What makes this cottage unique

Cosy and quiet. Wood burning stove is wonderful on a chilly evening. The garden is a sun trap during the warm spring and summer.

Booking Notes:
Saturday - Saturday bookings preferred but short breaks and different changeover days can be booked by agreement. When dates have been agreed, a 25% deposit is required as soon as possible, preferably within a week, to secure the booking. The balance of the rental fee is due eight weeks before the start of the holiday. A booking contract will be sent, with details of how and when to pay.

Changeover Day:
Saturday-Saturday preferred, but can be flexible.
3 pm arrival, 10 am departure, but can be flexible if there is no back-to-back booking.

Notes on prices:
Discounts may be offered for prices of short breaks and late bookings by agreement.

Notes on accommodation: Accommodation is heated by electric heaters in bedrooms, and economy night storage heaters and wood burning stove in the living room. The thick stone walls give protection from the weather and also delightfully house many small birds during the nesting season. As it is quite a small cottage, we only allow a maximum of two well-behaved pets. Outside: Large private garden, part of which is enclosed by a wooden fence. Gravel car parking/patio area, flag-stone patio area and large lawn in two sections. Variety of mature trees and shrubs. Picnic bench with sunshade, BBQ, rotary clothes dryer, garden seat. Lovely views over fields to the sea and sunset. A haven for birds and wild flowers. Neighbouring field often has sheep or ponies that enjoy being fed. Utility Room: Clothes airer and sun shade for outdoor use. Log basket. Child's high chair. Washer/dryer. Ironing board with iron. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Cottage is cleaned before each booking. Linen and towels are provided. Local cleaner/caretaker is available by phone if required in an emergency.
