We are Jan and Ningsih. After having worked and lived in the far flung corners of the world for the past 30 years, we are now preparing for retirement and realising our dream to settle in France.
We love this particular region of France because of the beautiful landscapes, food and people. We believe that we have found something truly special in Grandcoing and look forward to growing old here.
Jan van Kamp purchased this cottage in 2012
We love the this part of the Dordogne because of its beautiful countryside. The Perigord-Limousin natural park with forests, fields, rivers and many lakes and ponds create a wonderful setting. Whilst having easy access to all the wonderful attractions of the Dordogne, it is away from the tourist crowd and is the perfect place to relax with family and friends.

We had a lovely week here, Jan was very helpful with where to go and what to do. We loved the lake in the village of Saint Saud. Gite nicely decorated and very comfortable.
Great property, tranquil location in the heart of beautiful French countryside.
Away from the 'hurley burley' of life and commercialism.
Wonderful local produce to enjoy.
Friendly locals in picturesque villages, with a range of sightseeing/destinations and activities reasonably close by - or you could just sit by the pool.
