Villa Elma, is located in the Upper Iklin area (central part of Malta), close to Naxxar square and the historical palace, 'Palazzo Parisio'. The property is located on high grounds and in a peaceful location enjoying country views from the bedrooms and terrace. The villa is a three bedroom property with high quality finishes and gadgets providing its tenants with a unique experience, with a taste of true luxury. The outdoor area has a large south facing swimming pool with outdoor furniture, BBQ facilities and an area with artificial lawn, ideal for relaxation. The indoor pool enjoys ample natural light through the big apertures and includes a Jacuzzi. The property has been fitted with all modern comfort gadgets such as air conditioning, multi-room audio system which enables its tenants to play different music in the different areas of the house, intelligent lighting system as well as burglar alarm and CCTV which can all be controlled from an Ipad which is provided during the stay.

The property is located in Upper iklin which is one of the best Villa area developments in Malta. Iklin is located on high grounds offering nice views and is very central. The property is located off the main road of Iklin and hence in a peaceful location.

What makes this villa unique

Villa Elma is one of the very few properties in Malta which has both a heated indoor swimming pool and a separate outdoor pool. In addition, the property includes a lot of very high tech gadgets. In fact, all the sound system, lighting and CCTV are controlled through an i-pad (which is provided for use upon arrival.

Kindly note that no functions can take place at the property and that no smoking is allowed inside the house. The indoor pool is not heated during the Summer period.

In addition, the property has just been completed and hence is brand new.

The is also licensed by the Malta Tourism Authority.

Notes on accommodation: The accommodation has been completed in 2013 and is thus brand new. High quality finishes have been used throughout the house ensuring that tenants enjoy the luxury of a five star hotel. The property enjoys a contemporary design and its amenities ensure that the tenants get a comfortable and relaxing holiday. Having both an indoor and outdoor pool ensures that tenants can enjoy themselves both in Summer and in Winter in great style. Outside: The outdoor area includes a 7 meters south facing cascade swimming pool with outdoor wooden decking area and modern outdoor rattan furniture. It also features an outdoor sound system which can be controlled by an I-pad/smart phone to enhance your experience in this luxury villa. BBQ, shower/WC facilities are also available in the outdoor area. The garden also includes a large area with artificial turf which makes it ideal for relaxation. This area also has direct access from two of the bedrooms. The indoor-heated pool area is also accessible from the outdoor pool area and is designed in a way to maximize the influx of natural lighting. This area also includes a modern motorized skylight which is located just over the indoor pool that enhances the ambiance of this area. The indoor pool area flooring is finished in wooden decking to ensure maximum comfort. Utility Room: Property has a utility room with a washing machine and cleaning facilities. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Clean Egyptian cotton towels are provided upon arrival. Lovely week here!

We stayed at villa Elma for a week in August, as 2 families with 2 children each. What a brilliant week! The pool was fantastic - a good size for a holiday villa and when it got too hot outside the kids used the indoor pool! Even though the house was 3 bedrooms the kids all slept together in the ensuite bedroom with was amply big enough to have a double bed and 2 put up beds. Franco was on hand to answer any questions / fix any issues very quickly. We were met by his mum at the property when we arrived at 2pm. She was very friendly, showed us round and explained everything & there were basics in the cupboards and fridge which was was really helpful. Franco came to the property to explain all the tech stuff and all about the local area after he finished work. The iPad to play music throughout the house and outside by the pool was great both day and at night for the adults when the kids were in bed! Everything in the house was great quality.

The house is around a 20 minute walk to naxxar centre but up 2 steep hills so not ideal for young (tired) children but the lure of ice cream and a playground at the top was helpful! Naxxar is a small residential town but has a few restaurants / bars including the beautiful Palazzo Parisio where you can have amazing cakes! As Malta isn't big it's easy to get to pretty much everywhere on the island if you have a car. We didn't use buses but there did seem to be a good service from naxxar.

In terms of shops there is valyou supermarket at the top of the hill, at the edge of naxxar centre and we used to go to maypole for fresh bread each day, which is about the same distance as the main supermarket but down the hill.

We would all definitely come back! We come to malta every year to visit family but always have a week in an apartment as well. We have stayed in many places and this was certainly in our top 3 in the 17 years we have been coming!

We had a wonderful time here in Malta. Thanks to Franco and his brother who were the perfect hosts. They are extremely kind and helpful. The accommodation itself is luxurious and spacious. Would really recommend it!

Simply fantastic. I'm worried about recommending it too highly as I'll want to book it again and don't want it to be taken! I travel to Malta a lot and have stayed in a number of places and this was definitely at the upper end of what's out there. In addition, the host and his family were superb and unlike many other Maltese hosts I've used before, they understood what's appropriate for a family on holiday and were a perfect mix of being very helpful and accommodating without being over-bearing, imposing or invasive. Parking is really easy (on and off property) which is a huge bonus in Malta. It's not by the sea but is really central and easy to get to most places even if you don't know Malta too well.

8 of us, inc 4ad + 4 kids (8-13y old) stayed 2 weeks at villa Elma.

Perfect place, quiet, design, fully equiped.

Franco and family were helpful, nice, and smooth to deal with on any subject.

Perfect location 20mn drive to the farest place in Malta.

The kids opening lines on running into the villa.......look at the pool,response..........which one!?!?

First Franco - great owner/host nothing was too much trouble

The villa - top quality fixtures/fittings all mod cons - kids loved controlling the music around either on the two pools by using the iPad

Location - depends what you want to if you need a car,we didn't bother & taxis are very cheap again booked through the iPad

In short would we/we will return yes of course don't hesitate .......it's the best.
