One of the best
The property and holiday accommodation is much larger than appears on the web site. The apartment is at the rear and opens onto the impressive garden with a glimpse of the Mosel. Lovely to see the red squirrels and woodpeckers. Everything is provided, the furnishings are very tasteful. A bonus was the UK TV and good wi-fi. Mary provided us with lots of helpful information without being intrusive. We took our electric bikes and cycled along the Mosel 's well provided cycle paths. We have never seen so many cyclists. It is a steep rise from the river up to the house, so we took the bikes on the back of the car and parked up down on the river. You can park almost anywhere. Great This has been one of our best holidays and thank you Mary

Little Gem
Me and my wife spend a wonderful 5 nights in Mosel valley. This place was a little gem. Arrived to be met by Mary the host who explained everything and the region. The apartment had everything you will need. It is large enough for a couple to relax in at the end of the day going around the vineyards…. Accommodation is very clean and everything you would every need while on holiday is catered for. Would defo recommend and return when back in this lovely region.

Comfortable apartment in the middle of the valley
Great location in the middle of the beautiful Mosel Valley. We found the place easily and were warmly welcomed by Mary & Rick. The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable with a lovely garden and outdoor seating. Our 10 year old daughter enjoyed the pool and the friendly dogs very much. We stayed 10 days and visited the little towns and castles along the Mosel. Just driving through the vineyards was so enjoyable with such fantastic views. Mary provided us with a folder with information/leaflets on places to visit in the area and very kindly obliged us by making dinner reservations for us at The Moselperle on our first night. Both Mary and Rick are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We had the most beautiful and relaxing holiday and look forward to staying there again soon. Thank you so much Mary & Rick.

We first discovered Traben-Trarbach in 1998 and after many holidays and professional visits here, we decided to buy our home in the Mosel Valley in 2010 - and we've never regretted it.

We are happy living here and are still discovering new places to visit in and around the Mosel Valley; in the Rhine Valley to the east, the Eifel to the north, the Hunsrück to the south and Belgium, Luxembourg and France to the west.

Having known the area for many years we are happy to help you plan your stay here so that you can enjoy the area as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

During our many visits here we saw numerous lovely houses in beautiful locations but when we first saw this house with its stunning views of the Mosel Valley vineyards we felt that this surpassed them all.

Our house is in a quiet area about 100m above the Mosel and the views are stunning. To the rear of the house we have panoramic views of the Mosel Valley vineyards: to one side of our house we look over woodland, vineyards and the valley of a small stream, whilst from the front we have a small area of grassland with woods beyond it.
We are happy living here and are still discovering new places to visit in and around the Mosel Valley.

What makes this property unique

The front door of the holiday flat opens directly onto one of three patio areas in our secluded and peaceful garden – ideal for sitting, relaxing, enjoying the views and sampling the local produce or a cup of tea! You may spot a variety of different birds and perhaps catch a glimpse of deer and red squirrels.
The village of Wolf and the small town of Traben-Trarbach both offer a variety of good quality restaurants and cafes, many alongside the river. Why not take a boat trip from either Wolf or Traben-Trarbach to enjoy the delights of the Mosel?
There are footpaths from more or less outside the front door offering a variety of walks. Cycling is popular here, bike hire is available locally and there are many signposted cycle paths – level or hilly.
