Two bedroom linked villas beautifully furnished and well appointed and air-conditioned throughout. Open plan lounges with dining facilities and private terrace's. All properties have Satellite TV with access to main UK TV channels, a DVD player, and complimentary Wi fi. The kitchens have fully integrated modern appliances and are well equipped.

There is a shared heated swimming pool, with a separate paddling pool set within a beautifully maintained courtyard. This area is unique in that it is the only cluster of townhouses within Quinta da Encosta Velha that has its own dedicated communal pool. The area is gated to ensure it maintains its exclusivity, provides privacy for guests and offers a safe area for children to play.

Children are particularly welcome at Parque da Floresta and they have a range of professional activity programmes ranging from 4 to 16 years of age. The nearest beach is Salema, a mere 5 minutes drive and the nearest supermarket is just a short stroll away offering a variety of national and International produce.

Entrance level - Open plan lounge with sofa’s, dining table with chairs, flat screen TV with access to UK main channels, DVD player, and internet access. Patio doors lead to a balcony complete with two sun loungers. The kitchen is situated on this level, and is well equipped with integrated modern appliances - a cooker with hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and a washing machine. Upper level - private roof terrace complete with a barbecue and table and chairs, perfect for Alfresco dining and with stunning views of the golf course. The bedrooms are situated downstairs on the lower level. The master bedroom is a double configuration, with double mirrored wardrobes, and a fixed digital safe. The second bedroom is a twin configuration and also has built in mirrored wardrobes. There are two separate bathrooms, both with a WC, a sink and a bath with a shower over.

Lovely wonderful holiday

We have been coming to Salema for a number of years and this is the 1st time we have stayed out of the actual village and by the golf club. Yes you will defiantly need a car to get around but don't let that put you off! A charming spacious property with a lovely community of people based within the same complex. I have absolutely no negatives about the holiday, location, property and person (Victoria) who runs the renting out of the property's. Victoria couldn’t have done more for us to make our stay simple and totally enjoyable. There is something for everyone, fantastic pool, lovely choice of restaurants, quiet location for relaxing or sporting activities (if wanted at the golf club), plenty to explore and our 3 year old loved it as much as we did. A very well organized and run holiday company, hence a well-deserved 5 stars!

Gorgeous and peaceful

Beautiful light and airy villa, so spacious and equipped with everything we could need. The shared pool is lovely and was rarely busy, a lovely oasis surrounded by the gardens around the townhouses. The local beach at Salema is a stone's throw away and is perfect, with lots of good restaurants overlooking the sea.

Fabulous time in amazing villa

My partner and I stayed at Casa Encosta for our wedding and honeymoon and we had fabulous time. The villa was clean and well maintained and we were right beside the shared pool. The size is great and could easily accommodate 4 people. There is plenty of wardrobe space and two good sized bathrooms. Free wifi is great. We had limited contact with the manager, but when we did contact them, response was great.

There is not a lot to do in the immediate vicinity, therefore I highly suggest hiring a car.

There is a nice Indian restaurant/takeaway in the village and a pizza restaurant at the entrance to the golf resort, but this is quite a walk away. There is a fabulous Portuguese restaurant in Budens village itself – O Tiago (within easy walking distance) - only wish we had found it sooner. There is also a fantastic supermarket within walking distance.

Salema is only 2kms away and has a lovely beach and restaurants. We tried Atlantico, Bistro Central and Boia. All were very good but Boia was our favourite. We ate there 3 times.

Burgau is also close by. It has a small beach and beautiful beachside restaurant that will even bring drinks to your sun lounger.

This location is also fairly close to Lagos and Luz which are great if you want to travel around a bit.

I would definitely recommend this property to others looking for a quiet location in the Algarve. We have already booked to go back next year.

It is brilliant value for money and the facilities are great.

With its maze of cobbled streets bustling with pavement restaurants, and busy cafe bars, Lagos is a vibrant centre full of life, and only 16kms away. Also a town of culture and history dating back to Roman times. It was from here in 1415 that Prince Henry the Navigator launched his fleet and set the stage for Portugal's Age of Discovery. Right out to the west is the port of Sagres and spectacular headland of Cape St Vincent, the most south-westerly point in continental Europe.
