Our families love the place. Everything we need is within an easy walk so a car is not necessary. No need to cook because eating out is so amazingly affordable for the quality. Mature beautiful development with 3 great family beaches to choose from. All the shops and restaurants you could possibly want just up the road but out of sight and sound. Takes 40 mins from Alicante, 18 mins Murcia but why rush - loads of seaside cafes and restaurants en route.
Who wants a huge number of bars, shops and restaurants just up the road? - well we do if they are well out of sight. So much choice!. We love the nearby Belgian coffee bar with home made patisserie, the children will drag themselves away from the pool for the Wok buffet 200 m away. Flash round the corner for a 4 Euro full breakfast or tapas We like to stroll along the cliff top and nature walk to the right and end up at the Spanish cafe with good value food or maybe the excellent English restaurant for breakfast or dinner or along the strip for Spanish, great Italian, choice of Indian, good fish and chips, a great selection of pubs. A pint in the sun and watch the footie? Or leave it all behind and a quiet read by the pool/on the balcony/dine on the roof terrace/ lounge by the pool or down to the beach. Just typing this and I want to be there now !!!!!
You can go down the road by car to other supermarkets and the big new shopping centre 3 km away or checkout the developments by the sea on your way to nearby Torrevieja. The big town is great at Christmas and a really nice place to visit for the sea front restaurants, ice cream parlours, night market and numerous other restaurants, bars and entertainment further back.
You can go further to Alicante or even Benidorm with its expensive theme parks. Off season, walking the mountain ranges behind can be beautiful.
I am a lawyer. We bought the property 10+ years ago and continue to enjoy family holidays. I have retired and we would like to cover the outgoings but not let much so as to avoid the house deteriorating and so we do not disturb others on the development.
We have a lovely lady (Mary) and her husband who do the cleaning and will help you in an emergency. I visit from time to time to enjoy it and to do my best to make sure everything works.

Our holiday home. 2 airports. Cabo Roig is probably the most attractive mature development on the Costa Blanca. It is mostly large villas with two lovely beaches and harbour. It is away from the mass of modern development but only just up the road is the main strip with numerous restaurants, pubs, shops etc. Handy as possible with everything we need. All ages in the family enjoy it and gran could sleep downstairs to avoid steps. You can go up the road to the "strip" and have a great night out or avoid it completely and enjoy the peace of the area. Relax on the roof patio and step out of the door into the pool (separate children's section). Or stroll down to the beach. Take the cliff walk in either direction and end up in a cafe or a one of several smart restaurants overlooking the sea.
Could not be more convenient for beach and shops and restaurants but at the same time it is private and secluded. What is exceptional about this property is not only the location but the fact that it is right by the pool and has a large rooftop patio with sea views, an attractive little garden and nice balconies. Everyone can pick their own spot. No need to go anywhere else (However we like a car to visit so many places around for great food, markets, birdlife, fishing towns, traditional Spain, to walk in the mountains or the wild nature park a hour away) .

We have just enjoyed one of the best holidays. the location is superb with so much to do. Local blue flag beaches 5 minutes walking distance and bars and restaurants 5 minutes walk in the opposite direction. The house was so well equipped , clean and very comfortable with plenty of room for sunbathing. I would highly recommend this property. It is excellent value for its location and the owners made the transaction very easy. I will be going again! A++
