We had the pleasure of staying at Hildegard House last summer. We found the apartment to be clean, comfortable and spacious.

It had all the amenities needed for a family holiday, with 1 double bedroom and 1 very large family bedroom able to accommodate 2 adults and two children, ideal for our party of four adults and two children. The kitchen was well equipped and a nice sized living/dinning room.

The location of Hildegard House is perfect for all amenities including the beach, shopping and quite close to the lovely park.

We found it perfect for our party of 6 and have booked it again for this summer.

Absolutely first class

The perfect location in Whitby. A short stroll to the front with loads of shops, cafes, pubs in the vicinity. The apartment had everything you could wish for. Small details like tea towel and washing up liquid were provided for. Will definitely be back. Thanks again. Richard and Christine Parker

A wonderfull place to relax

Just got back home after 4 great days at this brilliant apartment right in the heart of Whitby, On arrival we were asked to collect the keys from a local B&B the lady was very helpfull and gave us parking disc and tickets for our stay and directed us to the apartment. When we got inside wow!!! what an eye opener large spacious lounge /diner 2 very nice bedrooms large kitchen and very good bathroom, all the instructions were at hand to enable a trouble free stay ! All in a top class appartment will definatly go back loved it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Location

We both love Whitby. The town has a unique character and is attractive all year round. We both love walking and were attracted by the close proximity of many attractive walks including coastal paths and moorland village walks. The availability of good public transport (trains & buses) makes it easy to enjoy linear walks. Whitby's skyline is dominated by the ruins of St. Hilda's Abbey, high on Whitby's East Cliff. Spreading below Whitby, a maze of alleyways and narrow streets run down to the busy quayside. Whitby is situated on the Yorkshire Coast. To the south lies the coastal villages and resorts of Robin Hood's Bay, Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington. The location of the apartment on Skinner St is ideal as it is only a few minutes walk to the harbour and all amenities.
