Set in a quiet area of the estate and perfect for a relaxing holiday but an easy drive to Mazarron or Puerto de Mazarron with their numerous restaurants and cafe-bars. During the summer months a charming little "road train" shuttles back and forth between the commercial centres and the rest of Camposol giving the usual driver a chance of a rest! Air conditioning is available in all bedrooms. We give you FREE: Final clean , Bed linen/towel change on stays of more than 7 days. Meet and Greet and guide to Villa. Who wants to be trying find a property, possibly in the dark, after a long journey! Wifi is available at a small charge, payable locally.

Outside: Lovely 10M X 5M private pool which reaches 30 deg C in height of summer! Plenty of sunbeds, parasols etc. Portable barbecue. Patio table and chairs. All set in large, gated garden with car parking.

Gorgeous property, better than in the photos!

We had a lovely family holiday in Mazarron at this gorgeous villa. It was well-equipped for our young family and my mother-in-law who holidayed with us and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Paul was so helpful, welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. We would not hesitate in recommending this villa.

My husband daughter son-in-law 19mth grandson and myself have just returned from Casa Maureen. We spent 2 weeks in this lovely villa. Firstly I must comment on how absolutely immaculately clean this villa was. There is everything you need in regards to crockery/cutlery etc. The whole house is very comfortable. Due to the good layout and having 3bedrooms/3bathrooms it is suitable for couples and families alike. Although it is in the middle of D sector and surrounded by other houses, it was very peaceful. The swimming pool was fab, very clean and well looked after (thanks Norman). We didn't venture too far as we were all in need of rest and relaxation, and we got this in buckets! We did go to Peurto del Mazarron a few times (try the arabic restaurant - lovely food). We ate a few times at the local commercial centre and enjoyed the chinese, bulgarian and indeed the fish and chips. All in all we had a wonderful holiday at this lovely villa, which is well looked after by Paul and Marie.

Unas vacaciones estupendas

Una de las cosas que nos convencieron para alquilar este chalet era que admitieran perros sin límite de peso. Nuestra mascota es uno más de la familia y no debe quedarse atrás cuando viajamos.

La casa es muy amplia, con aire acondicionado y televisión de cuarenta pulgadas. La cocina está muy bien equipada. Lo que más nos gustó fue el patio trasero, con piscina y césped artificial. Una verdadera gozada. El porche de la entrada es muy agradable y el solarium de la planta alta es perfecto para ver las estrellas de noche en un sitio sin apenas contaminación lumínica.

Solo hay dos cosas que no nos han gustado del todo. La primera son las camas: son MUY blandas y nos hundíamos en el colchón. Se combaba hacia adentro y acababámos los dos cayendo hacia el centro. Lo segundo es la tele: más de 400 canales vía satélite y ninguno de ellos en español. Parecía que estábamos en otro país, dentro del nuestro.

Por lo demás, hasta la urbanización es muy limpia y amigable aunque, de nuevo, NADIE habla español. Parece un trozo del Reino Unido en Murcia.

Santander ferry port - 8 to 12 hours drive

Car hire is strictly speaking not essential but is very highly recommended


Golf clubhouse 5 mins drive. Commercial sector B 5 mins drive. Mazarron town 12 mins drive. Puerto de Mazarron 20 mins. Murcia City 40 mins. Cartagena 35 mins. Sierra Espuna national park 25 mins.

Further Details:

Good shopping in Murcia city and Cartagena. Local, good value markets in Puerto and most surrounding towns. All towns, large or small, have regular Fiestas, mainly in Spring or Autumn.

Good quality Spanish and English bars and restaurants abound, especially for seafood lovers. Chinese food is excellent and very cheap.

Water sports, fishing and tennis all available locally. Bike and mountain bike hire available locally. Go kart circuit and tenpin bowling alley in Puerto de Mazarron.

Mazarron is a small Spanish town and is situated 25 miles from Murcia. The main town has banks, indoor produce market, medical facilities, shops and restaurants, while 5 minutes drive away is the Port. Puerto de Mazarron has superb sandy beaches and secluded coves, a harbour and a marina. There are restaurants and bars but no chip shops or fast food take-away.

The paseo has been extended, has been renewed beautifully with no expense spared and now reaches down to El Alamillo. A walk along here is a lovely way to pass the warm evenings. Apart from tourism, the region is famous for farming and agriculture. Most of the tomatoes in British supermarkets come from this area.

Sports - Mazarron is one of the most important tourist centres for marine and sub-aquatic activities in Spain. The frequency of prevailing winds throughout the year in the Bay of Mazarron means sailing instruction and practice can be undertaken at any time of the year. Furthermore, the clear waters and rich flora and fauna offer the diving enthusiast some highly interesting underwater depths.

But Mazarron is not only sea, but also air - you can go hang-gliding and enjoy some unique views, and land: climb jagged mountains from whose peaks you can see the warmest beaches, follow paths on foot, by bicycle or on horseback through ever changing scenery. Mazarron is not just peace and relaxation. If you like adventure sports and being close to nature, you are at the right place.
